You bring up some great points. We just finished a bathroom remodel. We were highly disappointed in the quality of the vanity we ordered from the big box store. Next time we will try the cabinet store as we keep our fingers crossed on this poorly made vanity.

If you want REALLY good quality cabinets, have the Amish custom make them. We got solid wood cabinets for the same price. Heirloom quality.

What was the lead time on a bathroom cabinet from a kitchen design center? Lead times on kitchens is long.

Honestly I can't remember which makes me think it wasn't outrageous. I'm guessing less than a month (but this was also a few years ago)
