I have already watched this 4 times! I am from an island at the bottom Australia, Tasmania, that doesnt have access to many fabric options so this was great to hear of different places to shop. I love support smaller buisnesses so now I have a few new places to shop online

Hey ladies, it's Renee with Golden Familiars! Have you guys checked out Prairie Moon Primitives in Wayne, OK? She's recently started stocking her shop with cross stitching supplies and patterns (she just came back from market) and it's actually closer than Tulsa! The shop also hosts cross stitching days and they're so fun. There's one tomorrow from 9-3 and you can bring a lunch to eat. Great lighting as well :)

Most Joanne’s and Michael’s don’t have linen or more than basic Aida. Online is easier these days and personally, I prefer 14 count or smaller! Just found out about 11, 10, 9 and 6 counts.

Neither of us buy much evenweave, but I like Picture This Plus and Fiber on a Whim for some colors and handyed evenweaves I like Witch's Garden Crafts and BeStitch Me. We will be making a separate video about how to soften aida. -Stephanie

Great video ! I am an Aida stitcher and only like the stiffer fabric, do you know anyone that sells a dye fabric that is stiff?

Because the dying process itsel softens it, I don't know of any hand dyers that do. I ordered Donmon brand on Amazon that was stiff, but I haven't stitched on it yet. ❤️🌎

Yea the hand dyed are just softened up. I like to use the one that are made with color. Like the Christmas red I got from Jim’s needlework on Etsy 🧚‍♀️

FYI for anyone this might help - I managed to snag a 20x24 piece of 28 count Monaco (DMC/Charles Craft) at Michaels this week, but otherwise, Aida has been the only thing I’ve found that big in person at any of my local stores.
