Eunice O aso Ebi is like a uniform! Where a group of people wear the same outfit. This could be wearing the same aso oke. Aso means cloth and Ebi means group!

@MoniMoni Moni - Your translation of Aso Oke is literal please. Aso-Oke is a short form of Aso Ilu Oke ( clothes from up-country). Aso Oke in Yoruba land is that hand made special traditional fabric/textile with different designs. It is also called Aso Ofi. The real & original ones are hand made. Most of what you have in this video are machine made and no old school person would use it. I can't as well. You are however right on Aso Ebi.

Ola Oluwa anyways as you can see ,weavers are weaving and all the asooke used here are all handwoven the machine made are from china and it's not done here in Nigeria .you have to be sure before assuming

@Ikeoluwa Odefila - I see the weavers but the final products are like the machine made type. May be the threads used are not good. I know these types in the video. They have good designs but not of premium quality. I know Aso Oke well because I grew up among Awon Iya Olofi ( women who sell Aso Oke) FYI makers of Aso Oke in Yorubaland are hereditary in many cases. That is why they can have their own family houses called Ile Olofi. If you need premium ones go to Abeokuta or Oshogbo not Lagos. The latter never fade or lose colour or texture quality. Nevertheless it is good business for her.
