MG road stretch in Gangtok is awesome! A number of eateries. Baker's cafe is amazing. Interiors are retro and trendy at the same time. Food is delectable. Their mousaka was delicious! So were patisserie items.

Thank You Sherry for such an amazing video. I am a food lover also travel kida is in my nerves. I will be travelling to Gangtok at the of the December 2018 that is on 28th of December. Can you please tell me, Is that 9'ine Restaurant is really cheap according to price or it was special preference for u as you are Travel Vlogger ? Don't get me wrong. I have gone to Gangtok last month... Beer and wine are too cheap there... I mean you can get drink at a half price there as compared Delhi... Even at the bar cost of 1 bottle of beer is equal to cost of 1 bottle of beer of Delhi's normal shop. Non-veg items are fine and tasty...but it's difficult for vegetarian people there as all the veg food items like rice,chapati,vegatables aren't of good taste... only momos taste good there...

omg my mouth is waterinng.. im nepali and i just cant get enough of momos :D btw i went to golden dragon when i was there :) but when i went there it was quite late so i coudnt enjoy all the foods :P

Shreyosi Bala You could try Netuk house! Not many people know of this guesthouse but it's one of the most authentic places to stay at. I stayed there last year during my visit and I was blown away by the kind of service they provide. Very humble and efficient staff. I didn't have to go out as they have an indoor restaurant but this video is definitely helpful! I would like to add up Baker's cafe in the list of eateries :)

To answer your question, momos, as far as i know, are of three types. The first one is made of meat usually chicken, pork or beef wrapped around in maida or flour made up of wheat. The second one, is the veg type, made up of cabbage and onions, which i must say tastes equally good. The final or the least known of all the three is made up of churpi, a traditionally prepared cheese mixed with spinach. To be fair, they all taste good.
