Ok now after watching this video I realize why you guys said things were a bit pricey on this trip… everything really adds up but I think the experience was well worth it and the food + views were beautiful! I’m always touring the world thanks to both of you! Btw, the churro pancakes had my mouth watering 🤭. I love that most places provide something complimentary even though their items are expensive.

It was more expensive than we were expecting, but because we were right in the touristy areas, I guess that's the reason. Overall, we had a fabulous time and it was certainly a memorable trip for us. It is always nice to get something complimentary at a restaurant, even though it's not really free lol. The churro pancakes and the cinnamon roll French toast at Coco's kitchen were amazing! Thanks for touring the world with us :)

My top places... Cafe des Artists for fine dining, Freddie's Tucan for brunch, taqueria Gonzalez for street food, Frankie's Italian for comfort food, and Bar la Playa for drinks!

As a local, we love Kosta Taco on Brasilia. They have creamy shrimp cooked with bellpeppers and onions for only 79 Pesos. On the other end of the spectrum, La Cappella for fine dining is unsurpassed!

We have just returned from spending a week in PV and loved seeing some of the restaurants we also visited. Cafe des artistes is hard to beat, we were there during “restaurant week” so a three course meal was only 499 pesos……such a bargain!

Cafe des Artistes has such an amazing back patio, and the food was wonderful! That "restaurant week" three course meal is a fabulous bargain...so sorry we missed out on that. Oh well, we're still happy we were able to experience a perfect evening there :)

I'm a chef. Mar Y Vino served me lobster bisque with an embarrassing amount of lobster shells. But the shells were hit with a bird mixer so it was like eating sand. Loved the atmosphere but come on can I like cook for ya 😂

Yes, like we said in our video, Mar y Vino is a great place for a drink at a beachfront bar, but we wouldn't go back for the food. It's too bad because it's so much fun to sit with your feet in the water overlooking the bay. Thanks for watching!

We’ve been hearing that prices have really shot up! We would love to spend the winter there, but the Airbnb rates are so high, it’s cheaper to go elsewhere. Having said that, prices are certainly rising quite a bit at home in Toronto too. Thank you for watching :)

@@jeffhidalgo8457 Our favourite restaurant, for a higher end meal, was Cafe des Artistes. We had to have a reservation and show up early to get a seat on their beautiful patio. For a more reasonably priced meal, we loved Pancho's Tacos. The food is really good, but there is always a line-up. We're sure you would love both of these :)

Going this week! Could you please suggest somwhere that does vegan and vegetarian plus normal Mexican dishes. Also have just found out in August at night it rains lots. Any where you could suggest were we will still beable to eat and enjoy without getting wet?

Although we didn't search for vegan or vegetarian, it seems most restaurants have some choices for it on the menu. There are lots of restaurants with covered areas, so it shouldn't be a problem if it rains.

We took Mexican pesos for the smaller restaurants and shops, and we used our credit card in the bigger places.

A lot of these places seem highend, upscale and kind of touristy, would have liked to see more hole-in-the wall local places like Choncho's tacos. Notice all the people sitting in the restaurants are tourists.
