San Diego native checking in. 🤓 Y’all picked some of my favorite spots and reminded me of some spots I need to revisit/try. Sushi Ota is my birthday spot and an excellent choice. Flavors of East Africa is a staple and I highly recommend the plantains, lentils, and/or eggplant as sides. And thank you for hyping up Cocobomb. It’s tucked away and never busy when I visit. Super nice people, excellent desserts, and killer prices. If I were to recommend a spot for your next visit, it’d be De Cabeza El Unico in Chula Vista. Maybe The Pad Thai Stand as well. 👌

Hello! San Diego local here. These are some of our favorite stops that I think you would enjoy: Convoy Chopstix for Katsudon and Hiyashi!! Fredcel for Pancit and lumpia! Ed Fernandez for Birria tacos!!! Tacos El Gordo! Rubicon for Richboy on garlic cheese bread or Spicy Tuna on Bleu cheese bread! Bluewater grill for the best fish tacos of your choice and their award winning Track shrimp taco!! Marietas Mexican food! The Kebab shop! The food hall in Little Italy for Margherita pizza and delicious Gelato ice cream! Enjoy!!!

My partner and I have been watching your videos regularly together and we're so happy that you picked all of our favorite spots in San Diego to go. Cocobomb is our absolute favorite dessert and Yun is one of our favorite boba shops in SD! For your next trip we definitely recommend trying Camellia Rd Tea Bar, Zhengxin Chicken Steak, Las Cuatros Milpas, Kikos for their San Felipe Taco, Bow Legged BBQ, and if you're looking for poke either It's Raw Poke Shop or 8th & B. Hope you have another SD trip soon!

Next time you guys come back to San Diego places I recommend is Thai Burger in National City, Harumama in downtown close to Little Italy and Nishiki Ramen ! Hand down are delicious!

You guys need to try shabu shabu house (hot pot) on convoy, my favorite is the pork belly and ribeye! also ask for the spicy oil drops in your broth! It’s so amazingggg, another favorite of mine is nishiki a ramen spot around the same area🙌🏽

Good choice on making it to the Friendly, and the dessert & Asian places (Coco Bomb, Sushi Ota) but their sister location Hane Sushi in Bankers Hill is better. But someone did you dirty by steering you to Oscars, Oscars is garbage. You should’ve gone to KIKO’s place. Watch “Taco Chronicles - San Diego episode” to see what you missed out on. Best Fish tacos & Ceviche you’ll ever have.

def not the uni but $9 for 2 piece yellowtail belly (essentially 4 pc) is a great deal. Same with the salmon belly 🙌
