Tartine, La taqueria, Yak Sing, Tony's pizza, Zazzi's, chez maman (in Potrero hill), Lolinda, Zuni Cafe, Salt and straw for ice cream. And definitely cross the bridge to Oakland for BBQ and go to Horns. All the places she mentioned are good restaurants. I would also recommend getting an Irish coffee at the Buena Vista even if it's a bit touristy.

Best thai would be Ben Thai. Cotogna and Che Fico should make the cut. Almost all of the restaurants on this video’s list is more for IG worthy, but, The Bird is definitely worth being on the list. Best bakery has to be Neighbor Bakehouse. Hard to come up with a top 10 for everybody, so it’s tough.

Arsicault is easily the best bakery in the city. Voted one of the best in the country. Puts tartine to shame in my opinion. Cool list though. Really good spots mentioned for sure.

Arsicault is amazing, tartine croissants are good but Arsicaults ones are better than some I've had in France. I used to go to Arsicault every Friday because my school was right next to it.. I miss it.

It seems like your palette is geared towards experimental dishes, or fusions. I've tried them, and they are mostly misses for me. I prefer solid traditional foods that are culturally accurate. Basically, hole in the wall, mom and pop restaurants. Upscale foods works for me too.

Dear Cynthia; My wife & I are visiting San Francisco this April- May. Loved you restaurant video. We’re planning to use BART & Muni to get around. It’s confusing from an outsider’s point of view. For example; The F-Line it is a trolley. Google Maps show the trolley up & down Market St. Aswell as, the bay side. But I found out that is not the case. I would like to see your point of view on getting around San Francisco. I know it would benefit anyone planning a trip to San Francisco. Starting with the BART Stations. There are other videos out on this. You have a special view on things. I think it would be an educational video. If you decide to do so, please skip the clipper Kiosk part.

Amazing bay Area spots. Sweet Maple- best waffles, candied bacon, Italy on Gilman in Berkeley- best risotto I've ever had, Havana in walnut creek- truffle chicken and paella, happy lamb- best hot pot broth and lastly dumpling time right outside chase center- some of the best dumplings I've ever had.

Although your a San Franciscan native, you need to get out more and explore different restaurants. There are many more better and more established restaurants in San Francisco. To leave off your list the oldest restaurant in the City ( Tadich Grill, estb. 1949) is a crime, not to mention one of the very best sandwich delicatessen Molinaris on Columbus Ave in North Beach. And all the fabulous Mexican restaurants in the Mission district. At least you mentioned House of Prime Rib!!!!!!!!!!!! 👍

Hi! Just discovered you.👍🏼 Have you ever been to Brenda's French Soul Food on Polk Street? You have to go for brunch and try the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict with Grit!! (Their hollandaise sauce is creole style so it’s on the spicy 🌶 side.) And for dessert try the Beignet Flight! Magical!

There are so many restaurants here in SF from the fancy Michelin starred to the hole in the wall ma and pa eatery. Its impossible for even a native like me, to say they've eaten at every single restaurant in the city. These are places that she felt like are a must try and thats it. So I don't get why people are slamming her for not mentioning a certain place. I could make a list and it would easily be 10 different restaurants because I have a different palate. One that Cynthia has to try is Niku Steakhouse because its a amazing, but pricey.
