Where to Find World Boss Raid Portals! - SoD Phase 4

It's nice that they added these two portals without harming the area that isn't cut off or disfigured by a large instance portal. They blend in well with the decor. (this would be a good way to put these original bosses back into retail)

I totally agree! I only noticed the archways because I've played the game for so many hours and something looked "off" but they still look really good in the environment! :D

Idea: video about zone transitions. One of the best things about WoW back in the day was no loading screens, just walking from one zone to another. And some zones had more interesting transitions than others. Example with Elwynn, Darkshire, and Westfall, you can cross the rivers are any point. That was always interesting to me, that there was no funnel to a single point, just a massive border you can cross at will.

Hey I was thinking about it recently but wondered if Crendor would do it in ranking style. Like for example some are really simple (Searing Gorge to Badlands) and some are more creative or open. Generally it's interesting and would be a juicy video considering number of zones

One of the best thing also,was THE loading screens, seeing those glowing shrooms in maraudons loading screen or a corner in the middle of nowhere in St or the door with the troll fetish in zf, or the green sky in sm with rhe guy on the hill. all those loading screens were giving a still of what youre about to encounter, just an idea of the place, they were amazing, also loadings existed on transports and teleports, sure not unneeded loading, but its part of the game

Good idea! That was one of the things that WoW really redefined with the MMO genre... the idea of having a true massive world with minimal portals was so far ahead of its time :o

@@Jediwarlock we need Wow 2.0. A new studio buying up classic and then able to embellish the great classic universe, finishing unfinished things and adding, carefully, new things like Hyjal. All with the help and guidance of the original designers on the WoW team!

Hi Jedi! Could you imagine if Blizzard released the new raid bosses and didn't tell anyone how to get to them? Imagine the top raiding guilds who figured it out kept it a secret for as long as possible, so for weeks and weeks, some guilds literally couldn't find the encounters.

Nope, it would get datamined and sent to wowhead news, every discord bot would notify all servers about it After 10 min of it being out u would have so wpvp around that boss for hours

@@Jediwarlock yes I believe they did, and that’s the way to go about it in my opinion. Dude, your channel has become one of my absolute favorites. Your, frankly, radio voice combined with the knowledge about wow is amazing. Your theories are so well grounded and that’s because you’ve done about every quest until Wotlk by yourself, and read up on the lore of course. There’s no one on the entire internet who has your experience of wow that I know of. Love your content man and btw that outro song is perfect. It’s not too loud or obnoxious. It’s just perfect. When I listen to MadSeasonShow for example and I nod off I will always jolt back to life if he has an outro song. You make me appreciate the game even more. I’m learning something new every time you upload a new video.

I was so hoping that Blizzard would make a NEW RAID, and not cut out 2 of the best world bosses and shove them into their own personal dungeons from where they couldn’t be brought to Stormwind or Orgrimmar.

Yeah I've seen those portals, still haven't found the new dungeon entrance in Ashenvale yet if it's inside the demon area or on the outskirts

I can't reconcile how Jediwarlock can be making such good and such bad videos at the same time. On one side he is making great lore videos and on the other he's involved with the literal piece of devils poop, which is SoD.

We all have our preferences :) I personally like SoD because it's the first time I've played on a public server which has been a fun experience, but of course I'll always prefer the original Classic lore and will make plenty more videos on that as well... not to worry!

Blizzard being Blizzard and completely missing the point with everything they do as usual. Instancing world bosses is like taking a shower, with a plastic bag wrapped around you; it defeats the purpose.

They instanced world bosses so there isn t one guild on the server that chain kills the world bosses leaving 99% of the server to not clear it once
