Great information! I too am considering moving to Mexico but a senior. Read other comments and as noted will reach out to Liz or Remy when I have my trip scheduled. Would want my initial visit to be a few weeks for seeing what it is all about. One of the best videos I have seen- many, many thanks!

Thank you so much for this video. I am interested in moving and teaching in Mexico and Queretero seems like such a beautiful city. I was wondering if any of these neighborhoods offer rental properties. I am single and more interested in renting than buying. Thanks again!

I would suggest reaching out to Liz or Romy. They can set up a city tour and give you more insight into the market

Funny to see this recommendations and after living for more than 20 years on queretaro have never in my live heard someone recommend this neighborhoods. As a resident of queretaro my recommendations would be very different, as the city is pretty small and has WAY better places. It al depends on your budget. But search for Jurica, Juriquilla, Campestre or even El Campanario (depends on budget). Safer places, better houses and neighbors

@@lcaang we did mention Juriquilla and Campenario, but when it came to Jurica the day was getting late and we were all tired, 😅 and we wanted to mention popular lesser known areas and we left it to our two friends who have also lived here for many, many years to come up with an interesting list, and I think they accomplished that. Besides the areas you mentioned, what other areas would you recommend?

Good video. Wasn't familiar with some of those neighborhoos from my research. Would have liked to see inside apartments to see what that money gets you.

We've thought of trying to do some videos like that for that reason. What area of town are you looking into?

Excellent video with helpful information. We will be staying in/near that first neighborhood in the Latitude apartments when we arrive for a couple of months.

I notice a lot of these neighborhoods do not have a front porch or backyard, is this always the case?
@dreamlifeinMexico2 жыл бұрын
It is common not to have much outdoor space. Maybe a fenced patio or driveway, but you definitely can find yards for the right price and/ or area. We have a pretty decent sized yard as you can see on our upcoming tour of our home, but we live more in a suburb area.

@@dreamlifeinMexico CDMX? 😉 Look, here's my take on Queretaro. If - a big if, for me- I am going to live in a Mexican colonial town, I am going to live in a Mexican colonial town, not in its burbs or outskirts. Otherwise I am going to live in CDMX or Guadalajara. So where would I live in Querétaro? In the eastern part of the Centro Histórico, around La Cruz and its environs. Or perhaps north of it around the old Queretaro railroad station.
@dreamlifeinMexico Жыл бұрын
@@chacmool2581 well, I wouldn't consider these burbs, but areas bordering El Centro Histórico because everyone knows El Centro Histórico. That was kinda the point of this video. CDMX and Guadalajara ate great cities though!
