I lived in Bernal Heights with my husband Larry in 1967. We had the first floor apartment with 3 bedrooms 1 bathroom for $85 a month. It was GREAT !!!! Lilly

Take note: once you cross Cesar Chavez (ARMY ST), you’re on your own!!! LOL 😂!!! You’re on the border of heaven and hell!!! Not lying!! 3rd generation native San Franciscan. We own three homes in the neighborhood, and I’ve seen this city go down like a skater descending fast down hill!!!😂😂😂

Safety is a relative feeling, but it is considered a safe neighborhood by most people we talk to who live there. We always encourage our buyers to visit the specific house that they are buying multiple times a day to make sure that they feel comfortable with the surroundings.

I lived in Bernal from 2009 to last year. It was an exceptional neighborhood with a variety of people but tech has now made it yet another unaffordable place for people. I was forced out my community because of economics. This video feeds that same greedy realtor frenzy.

Thank you for watching our video. I'm sorry that you were unable to stay in Bernal. One of the downsides to SF is definitely the lack of affordable housing. This is something that we can all agree that we wish there was more of throughout SF.
