Hi, Anthony. Just sold my 350z with hopes to find a good deal on a 370. I wanted to send a thank you out to you. I had that car torn all apart for audio and your tutorials were a very big part of this. Saved me a lot of time. Hope you're well and thank you for your work.

Love your videos, they've all been super helpful! Quick question - I have a leak coming from behind the dash in my passenger footwell area. I'm thinking it might be that grommet, I'm going to open it up here soon but is there any other place you'd recommend checking?
@AnthonyJ3503 жыл бұрын
So glad to hear you like the videos! I would check the area in the windshield cowl by the battery. Water drains in there as well. Remove the plastic cover and give it an inspection.

Hi AnthonyJ350, big fan of your work. I have followed your videos on many projects on my 350z. What part of the battery terminal are you connecting the amp power wire? Is it on the fuses on the battery terminal?
@AnthonyJ3503 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm on the fuse, but that's because I have a secondary battery in the back where the amp is going to pull off power direct. If you don't have a secondary battery put it on a stud without a fusible link and install your own inline fuse.

Hi, Anthony. I have an amp and sub installed in the trunk of my 350z, and my amp is also installed in the spare tire location. What is the best ground location to install it, or should I run the whole line from the battery to the trunk? Thanks
@AnthonyJ3504 ай бұрын
There M6 threads throught out the rear section, lower b-pillar and lower a-pillar area. You can remove the paint and use a 10mm bolt to secure your ground.

Do you have a review on that North Star battery?
@AnthonyJ3504 жыл бұрын
Hmmm not really, I talk about it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGappamwZbZ4rKs It's a very good battery so far and I'm happy with the quality and the ability to bring them back to life. My neighbour was out of country for 3 months, Northstar completely drain, brought it back to the store we purchased, they charged it up and it's good again. Not a lot of batteries can be deep cycled like that.

Hello, I’ve had my subwoofer for 1 year now. 4 days ago no start no crank, kept blowing 120a fuse on the battery fuse. Starter smelled terrible like chemicals/burnt. Replaced it under warranty, still no start and blow 120a fuse each time trying to crank. I tried to start car without alternator connected, at all. And the car started!! I went and bought new alternator yesterday. She started right up! Ran great! The LAST thing I did was re attach my Red amplifier wire to the battery fuse on the right post. My terminal only has 1 post btw. So then everything back together I go to start and boom, Dead. She wouldn’t start I checked and she blew the 120a fuse AGAIN. So I bought another fuse this time it came with 2 post/studs. I left my Amp wire DISCONNECTED. And she fired up and I drove it around for the night. Seems like my sub wire is blowing my 120a fuse. Why? I have been bumping the sub for over a year, what could be causing this? I checked under my rear seats and amp connections seem to be good. Today I might remove the amp 12v and inspect it. Also I have a ground NOT to the battery. Ground from amp to a bare metal near the rear seat. Any help??
@AnthonyJ3506 ай бұрын
Could be a bad ground, amp could be shorting out internally, you positive wire could be shorting to ground. A lot of reasons for this to happen.
@nbdxchance90106 ай бұрын
@@AnthonyJ350 how do I test if amp is internally fried? The ground is good it’s only 1 foot long connecting to a bare metal piece that I grinded down. The 12v is running thru the passenger floor and thru the gromet, next to it is my rcas going to back of my xav ax6000. Going to start pulling it all apart tomorrow morning I’ll let ya know what I find. But it’s for sure not my alternator starter or battery.

@@christopherrampersad7011 You'll have to get it the positive battery connection from underneath the car. The alternator is mounted very low in these engines.
