I totally agree with all the things you've said. I truly believe that the most important thing is that the easiest way to learn your target language is to immerse youself to it as much as possible. For instance, I like reading books and watching cheesy movies ))) So I decided to do it only in my target language. At the beginning it was difficult, exhausting, but later this process rolled up quite naturally. Audiobooks, podcasts, online newspapers etc. I like your advice to listen podcasts/movies on the slower speed (75 % as for me). I did that for a few months before I'd changed it to normal speed. It helped me massively. And all those stuff should be written/recorded by native speakers for the native speakers. Than your brain has no other choice, but adjust to the environment, though it doesn't feel like an exercise at the same time. Very odd, but it works somehow. It's completely okay feel tired or bored. We are all humans. The most crucial thing is that you could do your daily entertainment routine in your target language and enjoy the process. Not immediately. Certainly, not. But after some time it feels quite comfortable, convenient and gives a huge improvement. A sagnificant step forward. I mean, the pursuit of the goal could be pleasant and fun. Isn't that something ? Thank you very much, James. You've summarized the experience of the successive language learning so brilliant
