It’s Jeff Sturgis from Wildlife Habitat Solutions that always uses the term fill the lowest hole in the bucket. Good advice.

I have 8 acres of hardwoods.. I've went in every year and hinged cut and cleared for a 1/4 food plot with chestnut,Apple trees, and spring and fall blends of good green forage..I've thickened it up around it so the deer feel safe even when they are just 300 yards behind my house.. watching these videos and letting young bucks walk and not pressuring my stands until a good change in weather comes though.. I've started seeing bigger mature bucks and have noticed that antler growth has gotten bigger with food and minerals year round especially when they need it the most in the winter.. I've learned so much watching these videos.. im in central north Carolina hopefully I can harvest a 150 class or bigger this year.. I've seen some on camera at night but now I've learned how to get them to come out during the day on my property...thanks so much..

@Jesse Reddick Good job man. It’s definitely a labor of love. I’m just starting out trying to actually improve habitat.

It will pay off even on little plots of land.. I have deer now coming in daylight hours and staying for hours at a time.. I've had to start hunting smarter.. I'm seeing bucks on my property and my buddies are not seeing any deer at all.. I haven't spent a lot of money just doing a little at a time to improve my property.. I'm trying to make it to where it's self maintained so I don't have to spend time in the deer area making the big mature bucks feel safe..

I’m from over in Asheville I’m looking at some 15 acres in Tennessee and I’m wanting to get it and manage it, this year a boy leased the land next to us and he’s brought 5 dudes and have killed everything bigger than a 4 point

We own 80 acres and it’s behind our houses, our grandpa has a couple traps in it and loves messing around. He drives it in it everyday do u think the deer get scared or they get used to it or as long as he’s out by 2 it’s fine or

Every day is a bit much, they will know something is going on. You can do too much and run them off or you can do a little at a time and receive the rewards by going out as little as possible. They’re very smart. 🦌

As long as he isn't chasing them and shooting at them you are good. You ever see deer feeding along the road or a golf course ? If anything he's helping you. Ride out with him and walk 2 your stand. I'm on my property all the time and they get used 2 it but if your only out there when your hunting then u would move them off. If u like turkey hunting count yourself lucky he's trapping
