@@Rikardiho hey great question! From my experience being x2 times in Colombia in 2020 n 2022, I didn’t have any problems. It is actually a country relatively safer compared to other countries in latin america e.g.: - Mexico (high risk - you can potentially go missing, kidnapped etc) - Brazil (very high risk - a traveler I met had a 14 year boy point a gun to his face to rob him) For Cartagena, the zones I covered in this video are fairly safe. But Cartagena is much bigger than these three zones. The locals tell me if you wander into the inner city, these are more risky areas and not recommended. Although Colombia is fairly safe compared to the other latin countries, I still recommend to take all safety measures, because a few of the people in my hostels in Colombia were robbed/mugged. So it can happen. I created a “iPhone stolen in mexico” video where I share some safety tips if you want to take a look.
