I spent couple of months on the other side of the island before the pandemic, and did not go much to Seminyak and Changgu, but hopefully by end of this year I will move to Bali to live and work remotely. Just found ur channel by chance….if I’m not mistaken you didn’t mention the dreaded “P” word at all and that in itself is so refreshing…..I love bali and it’s people and will most likely end up spending a good deal of my time there. Hey Marie! Just stumbled onto your channel and love your content :). I’m planning to do a solo trip to Bali in the coming weeks but I keep hearing how there’s a lot of theft with people snatching bags when on bikes not to wear bags when riding etc. What’s your experience of this? I want to be able to walk outside with my bag and go to a coffee shop, or just take my phone out in a bag.. is this not possible anymore? Grateful for any insight ♥️

Hey 👋🏼 these rumors are true. You have to be very careful with your bag and phone when riding your motorcycle especially at night. Always put all your valuable under your seat. Other than that no worries if you are being careful, nothing should happens!

Thanks for your reply! So is it just on motorbikes? Is it safe to just walk up and down a road with my bag? It’ll be hard to not carry anything on me as I have to bring at least my phone and money on me 😃
