I believe the fight happened in Game 5 (not Game 2 or 3). It was on a Friday night and Portland won the series in Portland two days later.

This is a hilarious narrative. Dawkins was a 20 year old second year player who averaged 11 minutes and 5 points per game that year. They’re trying to act like Lucas scared him and shut him down when he actually had better numbers that series than he had had all season. The reason the Sixers lost was George McGinnis had a completely awful series, shooting 38% and averaging 13 points after averaging 21 during the season, not because a backup center was supposedly “scared.” 😂
