Nice to have Ste back, although I think the reason Vibe With Five connected so well with fans is it showed a different side to Rio. It broke down the barrier between studio punditry and fans in the sense that if Ste and Joel can be sat around with the pros, then we can all be included rather than watching from the outside looking in - that was this channel's unique selling point. This feels more like Rio is interviewing Ste on BT Sport. Quite cold/clinical/formal. I get that the channel is making tweaks to formats for max engagement, but this now feels like it gets lost in the many ex-pros on youtube pushing content.

Ste was what brought me to this channel a while ago now. Loved watching him, Joel and Rio every week. This place was very unique and felt like a proper, modern alternative to mainstream football television. I used to put it in the same group as the Overlap. Now it just feels like it’s Rio’s youtube channel, which I guess it always was, but there’s nothing special about it anymore. If I just wanted to hear an ex pro speak, there are plenty of places for that.

Echoing what everyone else is saying: keep Ste & Joel all the time as we can all relate to them a lot more than ex-footballers. It's great hearing ex-footballers speak to each other, but it's even better when people like us (Ste & Joel) get to be involved. It's far more relatable. Otherwise, it's just the same format being repeated with different ex-pros (Rio Presents, The Overlap, The Rest Is Football, Fozcast...etc). Literally copy pasting each other, what made (makes?) this channel special is the blend of some ex pros with people like us.

Really don't understand the logic of not having Joel aswell... The reason the show originally worked was because Ste and Joel disagreed with almost everything which prompted more discussion on almost every subject.. There's not really any point in having multiple shows where it's just people that all agree on every topic without challenging each other.. this show was ok but you cannot deny that it would have been better with Joel sitting there with a smug look on his face rolling his eyes at everything being said which would force Ste to explain more and defend his points better.. if nothing else it brings some energy to the show, Rio and Ste both being down talking about a united loss needs Joel being excited and smug to balance it

Vibe with 5 was its own thing. This change feels like Rio’s take on the overlap / the rest is football but not as good as either of them. Rio had the perfect blend of fan engagement/inclusion, his own unique brand “vibe with 5” which in my opinion was as good as the overlap and I put it alongside that. But this change to Rio presents feels like a big step backwards. Even this video felt like Rio was interviewing Howson. The vibe with 5 weekly videos was never that, it was like tuning in to a really good blend of banter, good fan insight and insight from inside the game on Rio’s side. Almost had that soccer Saturday but a modern KZbin take. This feels too brand heavy and scripted.

Lads, what made this channel great was the banter between Ste, Joel and Rio, it works as a 3, it’s not as good as a 2, Ste is awesome, but this format change has really dampened my excitement for the content.
