Cash is simply an RBA debt note The RBA doesn’t lend money, they exchange securities Cash enters circulation through an exchange of debt process Banks calling an exchange of securities a “loan contract” is completely fraudulent

As if they can drop rates , house prices, rents, inflation will all skyrocket.

We need lower real estate prices. Dropping interest rates by a few basis points won't help the average family ! Interest rates should be going higher to harness consumer spending fuelled by debt & deflate asset bubbles.

So dumb. Everyone who says this thinks they know money. Its idiotic. The impact would be devastating. That’s why they haven’t done it and trust me they know a lot more than you. Consumer spending has been decimated. It’s the current Government pumping money into the economy that’s making inflation stick. Keep raising rates you crush the population.

Exactly. It's good for him and the bankers. And it'll spur inflation on and higher costs of living.

Labor can’t manage money. Never have. People just vote and rotate between one and the other when one has done poorly enough as a Government. The cycle will continue next election.

The libs pumping up the economy during covid is part of the reason we have inflation now

No politician manages money well that's why most of the time we run deficits. They steal our money and waste it, it's as simple as that.

The USA did not drop rates by 0.5% because everything is peachy, rates get dropped when things are going bad. The FED dropped rates to try and boost Democrat chances at retaining the Presidency and they will drop in October too to boost the economy to con US voters into believing Biden / Harris economy is good. Inflation will love what's been done and will start to rise again in the USA. The US economy is on FED money printing life support and once the election is settled the FED will likely pull the plug on supporting the banking system which is drowning in empty office towers and insurance companies also getting no income from vacant offices. The US market will crash very soon and will take the world down with it just like 2008. Having a job after the crash will be more important than interest rates for most people.

The FED follows the 2 Year treasury yield. It's been dropping like a stone since June.
