YEEESS. I have a two walled roofed terrace near my small dressing room...my husband is pushing me to turn it into a bigger clothes storage area with rolling racks etc . That roll out may work for me THERE...I am torn between purging my wardrobe of many vintage pieces I used to wear for trips to Europe, cruises, and parties pre COVID or making more space....who has a husband who ENCOURAGES shopping and collecting vintage? He loves me in 60s and 70s clothes...the era when we were young. I could not afford couture then or much beyond tshirts,,sweaters and jeans as I had a pricey higher education all the way through my doctorate....nice to be able to have and wear them now...great fun.... especially the party wear!

@@latinaalma1947 If having the possibility, make more space and keep the vintage goodies is my advice !🙌 You will regret letting go of them (if you really feel for the clothes, that is) I have vintage pieces in my wardrobe that I've had for 30 years (and hey, I am not that old, but started early😀) Just the other day I picked out a pair of fantastic trousers I've had stored for about 25 years! with high rise in a fantastic skimming fabric, they're now my absolute favorite pants! However I never keep worn out or broken pieces, just things in good condition.💕

I live relatively close by so have been to the RR several times. Their collection is beautiful, but their handbags are almost as expensive as new ones, so I also go in to see and try on, then purchase new.

I love going in those shops with you. To see the Real Real and what they offer would be so great. I do not live anywhere close to a brick and mortar store. Those prices are so high, even consignment. It is sticker shock where as a thrift or vintage store would mark it down a little more. As you say, it's a place that you go to look and maybe find something but usually walk out with nothing. It makes you wonder just who the original owners of these pieces are and why they are selling them. I'm just glad that there is a way to move these items from one person to another.
