Happy with the Kverneland mowers? Looking to go for a trailed setup, second hand of course due to the price :) Would you consider the 2.8m or go for a 3.2m right away? And only right hand working or the centredrawbar so it can mow on both sides? :)

As a Deere fan Gerry I wish you the best of luck in finding a 6155R or similar with low hours, decent spec and in good condition. (premium or ultimate edition for decent spec). 6155R would suit you down to the ground I would have thought especially with the boost to 195hp would be plenty for the work you do.

Get yourself a 6155R Gerry, be a great tractor for the work you do, they are very reliable too. Autopower would be great for your field work, CommandPro even better if the budget can stretch, but 100% go for autotrac.

6145/155r is a serious tractor now, got my 145r at the back end of last year and wouldn’t look back, if your mainly for doing field work I’d go autopowr/command pro personally. Ex hire out of England may be a good place to look for one if your willing to go further than Ireland for it

Great video Gerry. I guess the 3650 took some of the workload of the 6420S when it was back working and hence maybe less work for 6420S. If you considering buying another John Deere you might want to look at the 6150 R . Its very popular with contractors here and has a 165hp. Best of luck with tractor search.

Keep the name of channel. Great video and hope the hay works out well. I think you have heart set on 155r. Try get auto power. If u had opportunity try get your hands on fendt 516. They are fine performer,streets ahead of 6420 , heavier and nearly 40hp more and still 4 cyclinder. Best of luck with your shopping and keep up the great work on your videos 🚜👍😎🤠

Good evening John Deere Gerry. You know your farm well enough to know what decision is the right one for you. All i do know is wheather you sell an animal or a machine the new owner wont have bought a slughra. If its came off your farm it will give the new owner no problems at all at all. Change the name or leave it as it is, that decision is yours. I can only speak for me and say the title dosent matter ill still be tuning in. Good luck in what ever decision you make. 👍

That 6110m would suit you a treat Gerry! Backup loader tractor, 110 horsepower more than enough for the tasks you’ll put to it, the fuel consumption will be half of a 6155r, the 69 is the powerhouse in your fleet. Good luck with whatever you purchase and remember ‘just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’s not going to breakdown’!, don’t feel forced into buying a tractor though, maybe a new muck spreader 👍

There is no comparison. Been driving a 155r for the last few days at silage, 145r before that. The 155r is in a league of I own. Thirsty though. Would use at least 70% of diesel on a long draw. Would be hard pushed to do 16 or 17 hours mowing.

Sad to see the 6420 go. Here in Northern Ostrobothnia Finland haymaking only begins around the 5th-10th of july. I think it would be a good idea to not change the channels modelnumber but if you do then 3650 would be the best it would go well with the channel icon.

Hei….. we don’t make hay until July usually also but if we have some fields with advanced crops we will cut in late June. It’s all weather dependent of coarse

It wasn't much of a hay day today... I took a chance last Sunday cut and baled it up for haylage on Thursday... its just pot luck

I’ve not dropped my hay yet, many round here have but I had other work on this week😔. Good luck with the tractor search, wonder if the prices many drop a little with the current situations. It’s up to you if you changed the channel name, I wouldn’t be fussed about changing it though 🙂

I’ve always wanted a 3650…. So once I found one, it’s doing the jobs the 64 used to do. With upping our acres this year, we need another 6 cylinder similar to 6930 so Something had to go unfortunately.
