Do add ladies fingers( grows from sead), moringa(grow from branch), banana plants (small sprouts), papaya(grow from seeds), winged beans(dabala)from seed, ginger(root stem), mint (stems), chillies( seeds), they practically need only water. i am surprised that things grow in sand like soil because in europe we have different soil and we also buy compost in big bags to put down and into pots .

@@sweeta17 In Sri Lanka no need of any fertilizer to grow anything. The soil is very rich always. You just need to throw away some seed. It will convert to a big tree someday without the help of anyone. This is a miracle soil. 👍🏼👍🏼❤️

Hi Lucie , keep the invoice, (which was issued by the pest control company), in a safe place. In case if you happen to get their service again , they provide their service , free of charge , if its in the warranty period. Also get few gunny bags to store coconuts .

The plant @10:10 is mimosa. "Nidikumba" in Sinhala. They are spiky and if you touch the leaves, they sleep. The thorns aren't really poisonous but extremely painful if you step on them. It is present everywhere in Srilanka and other tropical countries. Fun fact: Mimosa boiled in water is used to wash skin eczema as it possess antiseptic and anti inflammatory properties. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine.

Hi Lucie, I am watching your video’s from Canada. It’s very exciting. I wants to tell you on your termite treatment, I myself did this to my house in srilanka and it’s an old house, and the company gives 5 year warranty on their service. But the termites came back in one year. Lucky I got the warranty and called them again but now their chemical must be not strong due to the countries dollar situation and again the termites came in couple of months. Company came back and redid it. Hopefully it might last sometime. So make sure to discuss the warranty. Good luck! Keep doing the beautiful videos.

Its good to see your attitude towards things you are not in control of. You got to make the best of it..at least now here we dont have rain , the air is rather dry and quite cool at evenings and mornings ! I love the peace and quite with less pollution too. Good news is that a top economist and not a politician has said that he expects our economic issues to get fully resolved in about 5 months time !
