I am such a huge Bobby Whitlock fan, I do not know how I've missed this. This is an absolutely fascinating insight into the man not all that far removed from The Dominos and D&B. I did not realize "Tutt Scheff" (as Elvis used to refer to them....drummer Ronnie Tutt and bassist Jerry Scheff) had ever played with D&B. This is a real sort of time capsule into a different era, but the same BW.

Beau is REAL nice to see a son looking after his dad's legacy now & again so try and keep it up ... don't be a stranger 'cause the listening public is always curious about "now and then" as well as "then and again!" Glad Tidings!

Beau, in a very different way your father is another Steve Winwood. Real soul and a distraction from Clapton - and also a great complement too.

Great to hear Bobby Whitlock 1977, after listening to all the more recent Bobby/Coco interviews. What a guy.

"The Truth", my man, Barry Richards asked me to interview BW in 1977 on WHFS...We promoted Bobby's shows and records on WHMC back in 72... (yet, not included in the HFS WHAT movie?)... Not surprised... or the on air "Root Boy" vs "Rolling Stones" Debate of 1977?

👍You gave me a copy of that Root Boy/Stones debate a few years ago featuring DJ Josh and Joe Lee... I dubbed a copy for my brother in Pa., maybe will find and post it!

@@ThomasGroomsSounds like Bobby Whitlock to me, and even his son commented that is was good hearing his dad all those years ago. People are going to believe what they want to believe, but anyone with any sense and knows anything about BW knows it's him. Mr. Unfounded Claim didn't even see fit to reply. But thank you, kind sir, for posting this gem.
