Which 3F UL Gear Lanshan 2 tent should you buy? Should you buy the standard 3F UL Gear Lanshan 2 backpacking tent or the 3F UL Gear Lanshan 2 Pro tent? This review also looks at the advantages and disadvantages or single wall and double walled trekking pole tents.
I think the Lanshan 2 trekking pole tent is excellent value for money. It's a proper 2 person tent and ultralight backpacking gear and costs substantially less than most ultralight tents.
The 3F UL Lanshan 2 tents can be tricky to pitch. I recommend practicing at home so when you go wild camping you can pitch them quickly and easily.
The drawbacks to the Lanshan tents is that the fly is a fair way off the ground. This is great for ventilation but not when it's cold. You can lower the height of your trekking poles to reduce the distance between the fly and ground. The Lanshan Pro 2 tents do not come seam sealed. The pegs are small and thin so if camping in the wind, I would recommend upgrading your pegs. Some people take two ground anchors with them for the side guys.

3F UL Gear Lanshan 2 PRO 4 Season £149 www.camperlist...
Note that Camperlists give you the option to purchase an optional footprint, additional guy lines and a Z Packs style door hook. All prices include VAT & Duty unlike other sites. I personally prefer the T-Zip models but you can buy the traditional L-Zip models too.

I've been using Camperlists for a long time now, since their site was first set up. James has always been really knowledgeable and helpful. My links are affiliated so I get a tiny kickback if used but you do not pay any more. If you're against Creators making a little bit of money simply Google the name of the tent and buy elsewhere.
