No one should be paying anywhere near MSRP for ANY OF THESE. Get on cargurus, search nationwide, find the best deal, take it to local dealer for match+shipping/travel expenses, or go get the best deal. Rams are 10-20K off, and Fords and GM's are available in the high 30's low 40's depending on options. Paying sticker for any of these is like buying something NOT on sale at Kohls, you should have your head examined if doing so.

For this to be a fair comparison the Ram would need the Pentastar. The only good Chevy engine right now is the Duramax, considering the V8’s active fuel management system is causing catastrophic failure. The Ram hurricane is apparently misfiring at 1,000 miles. Ford still offers the 5.0, they have fixed the issues on their V6’s and 10-speed. Ben, you can still spec a Ford and Ram with a bed liner.

You could argue the Ford recall from January 1st, but that applied to super duty trucks so that is irrelevant for this video. Multiple sources including SHAP itself reporting misfires on new hurricane engine. 2 base powertrains making low 300 horsepower and then an over 400 horsepower in the mix. @ I know exactly which engines are having problems. Go watch TFL’s video on GM engine failures. Ben himself even said he bought a Toyota Sequoia over a Chevy Tahoe because the engines are having catastrophic failures. Ram hurricane engines are seeing misfires, turbocharger failures, and thermostat failures around the 10-30k mile mark, according to Getty’s Garage and Ram forums which are written by actual owners, not to mention they have gone so cheap that they can’t even put an oil dipstick in the hurricane.
