What wonderful, helpful info. I heard you say once before about using colored pencils for small stamped areas, and have definitely taken that to heart. And though I have all 4 mediums myself (but want to invest in better colored pencils), I use my Copics a lot for coloring stamps with larger images. Love the deep, rich colors. TFS!

Thank you for sharing helpful information on when and how to work with different mediums in art. I have a quick question: what do you use to seal and finish your art?

This was very helpful! I would love to see a video on stamping inks especially. I would love to stamp and then watercolor over it. As a beginner, I don’t want to invest in a ton of stamps or inks until I know which ones to buy.

For just watercolor I love Versafine Onyx black. If you also use Copics, Lawn fawn Jet Black works for that and watercolor both. But versafine stamps easier.

Waahh thank you for this video! I am actually confused on what mediums should I used and ended up planning on buying a lot of mediums but maybe I should stick to watercolor first because I'm new to art and still learning💜😍

Awesome! Have you ever thought about turning some of your smaller drawings (bunny rabbit and the cat, for example) into stamps? I have arthritis severely in my hands and drawing, which I don’t do very well anyway, can be painful. I love the look of your realistic drawings and while the cutesy stamps are fun, I often wish I could find stamps like your animal drawings. PatG

Arteza has some highly pigmented watercolors. Two levels, have the first level ones. Wonder if the next level is better.
@SandyAllnock15 жыл бұрын
They’re made to be inexpensive. I don’t find they move very well in water which kinda defeats the purpose.

What kind of brushes do you recommend for water color
@SandyAllnock13 жыл бұрын
For crafters, Silver Black velvet. For my fine art painting though I love winsor and Newton as well as da vinci brushes.
