how does this person not get more recognition, this is probably the best a1 review i have seen in a while and even showed some time lapses on multiple printers great job dude.

Great video. It's difficult to find recent reviews of the A1, but this does pretty well. Well spoken and less annoying audio than a tonne of other channels.

If you’re up for it, I’d really like to hear your take on different filaments. I know there can be a wide variance even with the same maker occasionally, but I like the way you dive into things and how you talk about them. 😊

My brain is weird, I'm torn between the $199 A1 Mini without AMS or the $1449 X1C with AMS... It doesn't make sense lol

Very useful video, I might purchase a a1 mini because I cannot fit a standard a1.

Picked up a1 mini as my first printer. Looking forward for an A1 for bigger bed size. And since parts are interchangeable with the mini it's a win I feel.

Get ender 3 if you like 3d printers, get a1 if you like 3d printing.

No, stop the ender 3

@@AGuyWhoDosentKnowya the Ender 3 is ass. I had way too many problems with it. I would rather have 1 Bambu lab a1 than 5 Ender 3s

you had me sold at (you can use the phone app to tell the printer witch ones to skip printing. that would save so much time!

For that lettering on the calculator, while that bed adhesion/not knocking off the numbers trick is nice, I would simply flip the model so that these numbers print on top then iron the surface. I haven't really printed in multiple colors, so tell me if that is a bad idea...

I am not a big fan of multi color and all the waste it makes but what I do love the AMS lite for is putting 2 rolls of the same color on and running the spools all the way out. No 3 or 4 feet at the end of the spool wasted.

Great comparison. Did you nitice an advantage of the automatic flow rate compensation of the A1 in comparison to the P1P / P1S without?

I’m looking to get the A1 mini. I already have a Creality Ender 3 s1 plus which can handle larger prints better than the small prints so the mini should be very helpful for those smaller prints. And will also allow me to do multi coloured prints

I have an ender 3 neo, but also recently got an A1 mini. Literally prints straight after setup. So much quicker, I haven't had to monitor the first layer like I regularly have to on the ender.

See I would say the p1p/p1s is the best printer for beginners. I feel like people give the MVP(minimally viable product) approach to beginners and while it si a valid approach. I've always been of the opinion that for beginners you want to give them something that can handle everything they might want to throw at it without breaking the bank while being the safest possible. In that light P1P is just the better option. Yes it cots more but because it is enclosed it means you can print with ABS, ASA and other filaments that might warp. Because it's enclosed you are going to have less particulates and VOCs in the room. Also you can connect to ti an extractor to remove more particulates and VOCs. While the health effects are still not known it is clear that these release VOCs and Particulates at a high enough level where it might be hazardous. There are tons of papers on this and we even have some influencers like Made with Layers finally addressing this. I would rather a beginner use a p1p and vent that out using the 3d Printed hose attachment bambulabs has made available than use the A1 and ignore the potential health risks.

After seeing how you upgraded the A1 so it can have the AMS A1 mini on top of the printer, I was sold on the A1. Can you share the files to print them, please?

The AMS Lite top mount for the A1 is an official model by Bambu Lab, you'll find it if you search for 'AMS lite Top Mount for A1' on MakerWorld :)

I'd get the one made by Joe Prusa. It's the called the MK4S
@user-rw4rc7mj3e3 ай бұрын
Prusa has been behind the other printers in tech and price point for quite a while now. While I like prusa and what they are doing no one should buy one without having more than enough printers already
@BuildyBryce3 ай бұрын
The MK4S is amazing and I love Prusas commitment to open source and manufacturing in the EU. Unfortunately the price tag makes the MK4S a bit hard to recommend, especially here in Australia where they're a bit annoying (and costly) to import :)
