Not at all. But the are somewhat similar. Cuban relies on more extravagant footwork and use a lot more head movements. Sovient is more linear. And aside from pulls you dodge more with your feet.

The most common stance for a mexican is a squared stance that fights in, always pushing forward. The european style uses pendalum step, while throwing jabs and keeping their guard long. For Cuba its mostly footwork

American style seems too flat footed. I figured when I started adding a pendulum step in my boxing because flat footed wasn’t working out for me the opponents were either too slow to do a counter because I was already out of their range or I’d get way more angles on them.

Secondly, the style implemented doesn’t prioritize outside boxing because American boxing is made for clever footwork(like Muhammad Ali) but not necessarily a jab heavy strategical technique that is to outmaneuver the opponent. A big example is Floyd May-whether constantly using finesse and clever footwork to defeat his opponent and is really stand offish. Russian style is made for constant outside fighting(constant jabs straights, and even making the hooks long) while staying evasive. The goal of the game in Russian fighting is fighting and maintaining the outside and their footwork is especially superior when it comes to that. I’m not and never will have a hate for American style, but it’s no good for a taller dude on its own. Thats why I have Russian style boxing with an American influence.

But I'm a little afraid to exchange punches but it's good sometimes I'm quick and aggressive always throwing hooks it's definitely my main type of punch they look very good and they also are pretty effective but mostly my hooks are mostly used for close range along with my uppercuts cross and straight punches are used for long range over all I'm very aggressive and I put a ton of pressure on my opponent still haven't taken boxing yet but my tio said I'm already an amateaur 6 year break and 3 months of doing boxing and already an amateaur I could become the best and I wanna become the best with my uncle as my trainer.

yea mexican is right definitely I'm very aggressive but not wild and I pressure them a lot with constant hits 2 quick hooks and if your lucky enough an upper cut and another hook but 2 punches with each hand 2 hooks for the first hand and the other two punches for the other hand but you gotta be quick and maybe go back or maybe if you aren't scared you exchange punches

Boxing- America, Russia, Cuba, Mexico, Britain. I trained in Russia and I can tell you they are technical with perfect basics and a good understanding of range and don't shy away from fire fights. The Cubans are masters of range, footwork rhythm and unpredictability as well as being blindingly fast. The Mexicans are tough , with good inside fighting but they are lacking when it comes to fighting at long range. All In all the Americans have the most world champions and the most impressive boxers on the world pound for pound the game is always developing there and there is something about the controlled efficient manner with which they box. Their footwork isn't jumping around, they know how to use the jab and are precise with their punches and counters.However I prefer the Russian style as some styles the Americans use would not work as well on the streets. Leaning back in the philly shell or something the Cubans do can invite takedown and your legs could get kicked out from under you. Wrestling-Russia, America, Bulgaria, Japan, Iran. Russia and America definitely produce the best fighters in the world , you can see it in the ufc.
