I have been filming our groups UTV adventures here in Utah. I have the GoPro Max 360 that I have been using. I agree that editing a 360 video is time consuming, but you get some very unique shots. Another guy in our group has a GoPro (can't remember which one) and I have found the sound is very different between the 2 GoPro's. Also the clarity is different between them. I have a mount on the roll bar just above the windshield on the driver's side. I use a selfie stick to capture different angles. I use the Wondershare Filmora software to bring everything together. I have been looking to possibly adding another camera so I can record the other UTV's in our group that are behind me, or attach it to the other UTV's for more footage. Thanks for sharing!

Well I did it after watching your video I went and bought a GoPro 12 for two reasons kind of like the way it looks and you said it was easier to edit videos just starting in on this with my CF Moto anything that will make it easier for me to get started! But either way all of your videos are always great

I use Akaso for my cameras. V50x and up is the way. I have had 2 v50's and 2 ek7000's since 2019 and they have been to every race in the IMSa season a gtd car, they've have done 100+ time attack races, been up pikes peak, all over the hawaiian islands, from mountain top to in the pacific, on the back of my dogs and so on. Great cameras, great prices.

well brother let's start with your vids are always great and interesting. but for me I thought the 360 was a totally different experience. I loved it another level of feeling like I was actualy riding along beside you it was awesome.

Both are good. Insta360 is better for higher up shots. Try mounting it to the roof. The go pro is trusted tried n true.

I'd like to see an insta360 on a drone. You should try it. Just fly it over the new shop n see how it does.

Nice work! I need something like this to set up in front of my jeep so it looks like drone footage. I’m just wondering about one thigh. How far the stick should go to capture a LINEAR footage? Thank for the great demoneatraion again.

I would get the 12 because it doesnt over heat as easy and battery life is better

What are other options, other than having your arm hanging out of the sxs? Also, anything you can do to keep lense protected from mud/water?

The rounded view sucks except for some of the cool close up shots and angles I'd use it just for those. Keep the rest of the video with the go pro. That 360 camera gives me a headache to watch very long.

It’s the Insta360 selfie stick.. I can’t remember exactly what length but it’s the one from their website

Not a fan of the view from the 360… on the side shots of your side by side it bows your vehicle… front tires look like they toe-in while the rear looks like it has massive toe-out…. Definitely like the GoPro video a lot better… is there a way to get the bow out of the 360????
