As much as I love the heart of the evangelist here for reaching out to people, I do feel he may benefit from speaking more slowly and calmly. I know and love the gospel but even my head was spinning after a few minutes of listening to this interview. I also believe that introducing Plato, Socrates, Theology and Philosophy into the interview was ‘information overload’ for a couple who already felt that Christianity was “too complicated.” It’s is beautiful to see a zeal for the Lord, but we must always take care to talk with people and not talk at them. It’s a lesson I am slowly learning myself and I saw a lot of my past self in this evangelist. The gospel is beautifully simple and the deeper exploration comes later, during one’s walk with Christ and in the study of God’s Word. Here, they just needed to hear the message and be encouraged to explore that further through prayer and reading the Bible. As evangelists, sowing the seed is all we can do. The rest is with God and people’s own willingness to seek Him. Questions about denominations can be tricky. Some are different expressions of the same faith. Some are heretical. The key is to encourage people to read what God’s Word has to say and let God lead them to His truth. The ‘right’ congregation will be much easier to discern after that.

I agree, speaking too fast and making it way too complicated, but it is actually quite simple if you ask me, no matter the versions of the new testerment or the denomination, in all of them you have Jesus to follow and the 10 commandments they are the same, in all the so called versions, so put your trust in Jesus and make an effort every day to keep the 10 and if you fall, ask for forgiveness and try harder.

And I also think he shouldn't of said he spoke or heard God talking to him, for some reason I don't believe people when they say that. I believe when you become a believer the Holy Spirit is with you at all times to make the right decisions. Jesus told the disciples he would have to die in order for the Holy Spirit to be in us. I don't believe God speaks to people but the Holy Spirit does in our hearts.

Christian Nightcore I think that maybe you need to get over yourself when it comes to the KJV being the only 1, like so many people on KZbin that remain anonymous, I find it difficult dealing with those as such, as it’s like talking to absolutely nothing, I don’t know how old you are or how long you’ve apparently been ‘saved’, but for me, I’ve been saved a bit more than ‘5 minutes’, some I’ve still got bibles from when I 1st got saved, more than 1 translation, I’ve also bought myself another 3 in the past year, with the original Greek and Hebrew translations, I’m not saying that to boast, just letting you know, so I’m definitely able to cross reference plenty of things But I did also ask you, which you haven’t as yet answered, what did people do for a bible, prior to the KJV, bear in mind, I know the answer.....

Christian Nightcore lol you make me laugh, I agreed with all you said, other than the usual attitude of the KJV is the only true version, 1st of all, KJV is 1 of many versions I own, so my problem isn’t with the KJV, my problem is with the ignorance and arrogance of those who say it’s the ONLY 1, and you’re calling me out for not researching, yet you’re the 1 who’s refusing to, and to say that prior to the KJV they had the Apostles lol, really, I think you’ll find there was approximately 1500 years between the original Apostles dying out and the KJV coming about, mmm, that’s quite some time, but yet you can’t answer, can you, like I say, ignorance doesn’t always pay, but like I said, Paul, being 1 of the originals and chosen by Jesus said, if they want to be ignorant, let them stay ignorant Like I said, I agreed with everything else you said, apart from the KJV being the only true version, all the best and take care, as I’m also done with talking to someone who remains anonymous

People say I'm a good person therefore I should go to heaven after I die ....first of all let's completely forget the fact that there using there own standard to say that they are good people but even if you where good what does that have to do with anything?? ...think of a really good man that was walking through a random neighbourhood and he happens to see a rich mans house that's very big ...he then goes up to the house and knocks the door ..when the rich man opened the door the man said "hi! I'm a very good person and I wan to live in your house." Then the rich man said "I don't care how good u are i don't know u and your not coming in." And slams the door shut ...this is the same scenario with people who think they are good ...they live there whole lives wanting to do nothing with God and after they die they demand that they be let into heaven because they think they're good ..and the only way we can walk into Gods house is only if we have a relationship with him ...Christianity is the only religion that offers a relationship ship with God ...and the only way to have that relationship with him is by being born again ...it's not the issue of goodness or badness that separates us from God it's spiritual deadness ..Jesus never came to make bad people good, nor did he come to make immoral people more moral, he came to make dead people live !!

There is only one God as Creator and human are sinners since the fall of Adam and Eve. As God is holy and pure and no any men can enter his kingdom without the purification of their spirit and soul. hence He provided Jesus to die for the sinners. He is the creator and only His standard and way that acceptable to Himself for His kingdom. it is not about religion anymore but the salvation for human since God wants people not perish and the hell is only for the devils, the fallen angels. Reading the books of the New Testament, we possibly asked ourselves more than once: *"Why 2000 years we do not see those miracles that accompanied the Сhurch of Christ in the I century, as described in the New Testament?"* Why do the so-called preachers of Christ have to prove that Jesus really existed and atheists boldly deny the historicity or divine origin of Christ? Maybe because the Сhurch of Christ has not existed for 2000 years? The Сhurch does not exist in the form in which it is presented in the books of the New Testament, but there are Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and other christian sects claiming to be the place of the Church, but they not have the only thing that distinguishes the divine from the human and is characteristic of just the Сhurch of Christ -the reinforcement of the word with signs, that is, miracles (Mark 16:15-20). Therefore, some researchers doubt the historicity of Christ, and some of them are not opposed to declaring him a an ordinary philosopher, teacher. But even if Jesus were an ordinary philosopher, his disciples would be ordinary followers of Jesus. And they would not dare to write about the miracles that not only Jesus, but also his disciples, could perform. If there were the Church in our time as described by the authors of the New Testament books, where miracles are performed, the sick are healed, where prophesied, and the dead are raised, no one would doubt the historicity of Christ. Then there would be the same controversy throughout the world as in the first century - Jesus the Son of God or the false prophet who seduces the world by miracles. As a result, we can say that the emergence and development of christian sects and atheism was the result of the fact that over the 2000 years the Сhurch of Christ did not exist. Find *"The Mystery about the Church of Christ"* video on KZbin, which shows the real causes of Christian sects and atheism. The video reveals a prophecy about the disappearance and reappearance of the Church of Christ before the end of the world. Watching this video will bring joy to all who sincerely seek God and will interest those who are not too lazy to think freely. (The video is in Russian, but English subtitles are included)

In Exodus 20:8-11 we are told to keep the 7th day Holy. That is from Friday Sundown to Saturday Sundown. The Sabbath was not made for Jews, it was made for everyone, all of mankind. It was established in the garden of Eden before any Jew exsisted. Exodus 31:16 The Sabbath is defined by God, a day we will keep for eternity. In the year 321 a ruler named Constantine declared the Biblical Sabbath be changed to the "Venerable day of the Sun". This was to sepparate Christians from Jews on their day of worship. Ultimately the Catholic church took the reigns and accepted the change, and calling this bold change "a mark of her authority". I'd hate to disobey the authority of the LORD in place of a blasphemous man's day. The prophet Daniel (7:25) even warns us that there will be a power that attempts to change God's time and law. There is only one command dealing with time. That is the day that is set aside to "Remember", since God knew that one day the world would forget. The Sabbath study is profound, I urge you to watch the 5 part series by Hal Holbrook call "Revelations Lost Pages of History. And watch the Sabbath debate with Jim Staley and Chris Roaebrough. They are both found on KZbin. It's time we start giving back to God, not man's tradition. The change if worship is a journey that will bring you some persecution. My business I keep closed on the Sabbath and it's a way for me to testify to my customers. God bless you and your family. From a small town mechanic in NY State. Blessings. Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments.

There is no Sabbath Day today. Colossians 2:14-16 tells us that the ceremonials laws were nailed to the cross, including the Sabbath Day. Jesus became the fulfillment of what the Sabbath represented in the Old Testament. The Sabbath Day was a ceremonial Law, only for the Jews in the Old Testament. It pictured resting in Jesus Christ for salvation. This is plainly taught in Hebrews 4:1-5. Today, we honor the Lord on Sunday (1st Corinthians 16:2), the first day of the week. Jesus is our Sabbath and in Him alone do we rest for our salvation.

People really get confused about what Christianity is. There are so many non biblical religions that feature Jesus that lead ppl into thinking they have to earn their way into heaven which leads to one of 2 things 1. They're super religious but have no faith or 2. They get really dejected and just give up entirely feeling like they'll never be good enough. The point is we all sin so we're all guilty. By having a relationship with Jesus we are forgiven for everything we've ever done prior and everything we will ever do after. Christianity is the only religion that promises that.

The result of James in 2:24 is a declaration that the HOLY SPIRIT thru JAMES REJECTS Sola Fide as a doctrine. James 2:24 RSV You see that a man is justified by works and not by faith alone. James is written to people who believed that their "faith alone" would be sufficient for salvation, without the Obedience of Faith within the entire Gospel handed down to the Church. @@LivingWatersEurope The problem with the GodQuestions article, beside begging the question, shows that it did not take into account James 1, specifically James 1:22-25. Although the phrase faith alone is not found in scripture is because Jesus NEVER taught this doctrine and neither did the Apostles. What is taught is a Living Faith. The question I ask is What does it mean to have a Living Faith as opposed to a dead faith. The article is there to prove James 2:24 really means this: Luther 2:24 You see that a man IS JUSTIFIED by Faith Alone.

@@Ryan_Zell Thank you for your response. I'm going to need you to expand on...: 1. ...why you think the article is is begging the question. 2. ...why you think James 1 isn't taken into account, because this is purely a hermeneutic issue, not a issue about whether we're applying God's word or not (which I think what you're implying with chapter 1 verses 22-25). Basically we need to understand the meaning of the text first before we apply it. Hence why it's a hermeneutic issue. 3. ... what you mean exactly about 'Living Faith', so I understand where you're coming from.
