I would hope you would give Sanatana Dharma a DEEPER dive, via the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, etc. Christianity is such a fairytale religion/worldview and was constructed out of the VERY common Mystery Religion Cult ideas, which preceeded Christianity, such as that of Inanna and even Osiris. Even Justin Martyr was aware of the similarities. Christianity is literally just a Jewish version of the VERY common Mystery Cults. Advaita Vedanta (Nondual Hinduism) is where reality leads the truly earnest, wise, introspective person. I sincerely hope you will dive deeper than the shallow end and find true peace.

@aartiroyan what comforts you comforts you. To each their own. But, your analytical minded research is severely lacking, unless you realize and can explain why Christianity literally presents as the Jewish version of previous fairytales, called Mystery Religions, such as that of Inanna and Osiris, for examples, which were VERY prevalent and well established during the rise of Christianity. The similarities to those dying/rising godmen (and women, in the case of Inanna, for example) are STRIKING and impossible to explain away their obvious influence on the Jesus myth. That alone begs a deep mind to seriously reconsider Christianity's claims. Even the early Church Father Justin Martyr was painfully aware of the similarities and spoke candid of them. In addition, there are ENDLESS reasons to doubt the 4 Gospels, for example (which copied/found inspiration from common myths, Greek literature, and even copied/redacted/expounded upon each other) for glaringly obvious reasons to any earnest and honest researcher, which I won't dive into here. But, if nothing else, I would never believe in the jealous, vengeful, genocidal, bloodthirsty Yaweh character as a viable option for the origin of existence. Yaweh clearly sanctioned chattel slavery (Christians try to say endentured Servitude, etc, but Yaweh CLEARLY sanctions chattel (buying and owning humans as property; to even pass on to next the generation) slavery and had to become human, die for the weekend, in order to sacrifice himself to himself so he could tolerate the human nature he knowingly created. And, a belief in original sin---born evil--- is profoundly absurd and degrading to humankind. Ok, I could go on with examples of why Christianity is ridiculous (if taken literally) for endless hours. But, if your research answers all these type of serious issues (and the countless other obvious problems) then good for you and I wish you the best. But, hopefully you didn't just fall into the common trap of Christianity appealing to your "feelings" and then your intellectual side started picking and choosing ways to keep your feelings happy instead of earnestly pulling at the sincere threads of truth. The truths found in Advaita Vedanta (nondual Sanatana Dharma, aka Hinduism) are truth teased out of years and years of deep contemplation and ficus of the nature of the self/Self. The Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and Brahma Sutras, for example, can lead people to unlocking a glimpse into Reality as it really is. Reality is nondual. All that exists is Brahman (the vast), which is literally pure Consciousness. And, this undivided Consciousness dreams this universe into seeming existence. You, me (our egos) are akin to dreams avatars and characters in a dream at night---when you wake, the dream world and characters vanish. This means that at the deepest level, you, me, are God's awareness. We have no autonomous doership. No sin. No good. No free will (which science also mostly recognizes). Once this is realized, a sense of awe, profound peace and love is unlocked with the acceptance that what happens simply happens. What is is. What will be will be. We are rivers destined to return to the ocean. Hinduism (when understood deeply) is infinitely Beautiful.

I think you might enjoy my dad’s story from a Hindu priest family, next in line to the position, how he heard the gospel, how the devil tried to keep him from converting to Christianity, council meetings to condemn him to death, how God rescued him, how he became an evangelist walking through the thick forest to preach and plant churches throughout the state, evangelizing through transworld radio, then becoming a pastor, starting his ministry, translating Bible in our language and printing the first KJV Bible and many more. Fascinating. I’m actually trying to get him to do audio recording of his testimony so I can write a book. He’s nearing his 80 now and still very busy in our Father’s business. That’s amazing to know about Thomas being martyred in India! When my family and I went to Cyprus for holiday, we learned that according to tradition, St Lazarus fled there and he became a bishop of Larnaca, Cyprus. Sir, respectfully - there is no evidence of Thomas visiting Bharat. The evidence was brought in by the Portuguese who invaded Chennai in 16th century and destroyed the Kapaleeshwarar temple. There is mention of Thomas around 5th or 6th century - which is likely to be Thomas of Caanna and not the twin. Ishwar Sharan's book is a good place to understand this.

There is enough evidence to support that Thomas the disciple was in India. There are places of worship still in existence that he built in Kerala (kodungalloor) , Kanyakumari and Chennai. Science and logic are very much part of sanatan Dharm. Anyways Ganesh has chosen to be Christian by choice, all the best to him. To understand sanatan Dharm one has to read a lot instead of just one simple book so I don't blame people who convert. Mahatma Gandhi expressed his complex views on Christianity with notable quotes. He famously said, "I like your Christ, but not your Christianity," highlighting his admiration for Jesus while critiquing the behavior of Christians. Additionally, he remarked, "If it weren't for Christians, I'd be a Christian," reflecting his disappointment with how Christians practiced their faith, particularly regarding exclusion and segregation he faced in churches. These statements underscore Gandhi's belief that true Christian values were often not reflected in the actions of those who professed the faith.

Wonderful brother. This is a great testimony in time of need. In India now it is triggered to follow or practise the Hindu religion by Hindus. Every social media is talking about Hindu Hindu. 80pct of the population is Hindu why should we fear about. Though Christianity and Islam come from outside India. But the people who practised are Indians. How can you say go out. In case if Muslim and Christian come back to Hinduism, will you give us equal rights. Will they do all poojas, can they touch the god, can they go and attend all the temples in India. It is not possible. Even our earlier and present Presidents cannot go all the temples. That is the reason some people changed to other religion not to fight with existing system. Please leave everybody to live peacefully in India. Human being is more than relegion. We are Indians. Relegion is next. This comment I cannot put in other columns. Human kindness is relegion. No God says hate others. Love all Hindu Muslim Christian Buddha and Atheist.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth; for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak; and he will shew you things to come.
