Singapore is a good introduction to Asia and SE Asia. Clean and safe. HK has been crowded, the people "pushy", and gov't not tolerant. Appreciate the vlog.

I recalled back in 1981 when I visited HK, I was scolded for checking out prices of items in shops, some shops even tell if u don’t want to buy don’t touch, at fast food eateries I was scolded for being slow in ordering. Then after the Asian. crises I visited HK again and this time round they were very courteous and great in their service but slide backwards again after 2010.

Honestly, it depends on one's personality & what you are looking for. Singapore is also a great place for singles & for families. We have friends who are currently raising kids in HK as well.

HK smiles vs Sg Courtesy Campaign are 2 different campaigns. In Sg context, at that time it was realized that Singaporeans behavior were not refine in many aspects and hence SG had this campaign to bring awareness and to mold the society to a more courteous one.

For your mother seek Stay where you are and don’t bother to come here or even as a tourist.. it’s not only expensive, hot and humid but too many people flooded in and so many of your kinds with the tongues twisted accent squatting Mr Ching and mdm chongs here. They came by squadron after squadron leaving behind spatting stain marks around the ashtray at the smoking area.. are quite a sight to behold.. Yeah, it was an error. John meant city
