I confirmed this exact thing in an older similar video of Jack. Whenever I'm in Kosovo, my IP is shown to be from Serbia, Albania, North Madedonia or sometimes even Slovenia, but it never showed up as Kosovo.

Never expected Jack to think that Filipinos don’t speak much English 💀 The Philippines was actually American territory from the early 1900s to the late 1940s. English is actually a main language of the Philippines, being taught in most schools. They use English so much here that there’s been a growing movement to preserve the country’s own language as kids these days can’t speak Filipino but can speak English.

So this is more about the population of the state rather than the actual viewer analytics. 9.6 millions is about 8% of the state's population. In Karnataka too, you have about 8% of the state's population. Then it falls. Your viewers are about 2% of Uttar Pradesh. Then back to 5% of the state in Tamil Nadu. Then damn! 20% of Delhi watches your video. That's the best percentage in top 5. Edit: Considering that this is not an actual thesis, I thought people would understand that I am considering one view as one person rather than counting repeat viewers because analysis using repeat viewers isn't possible with this limited data. For that, I need actual info about each viewer individually, which KZbin doesn't provide. But since everybody started picking this apart, I thought I'd make it clear that it is a hypothetical scenario.

Indeed, India, and Philippines, are considered as almost native speakers, as they learn English, because there are quite a few dialects among their countries, and English is the best way to have a unique one. This is why, on Geoguessr, you also find English writing in both locations :) It is way more surprising for Indonesia, as they don't usually speak English, unlike Malaysia Regarding Tuvalu, Nauru... and other places, these are because of the VPN IP's origin I guess, with maybe some people speaking English. Regarding Kosovo, I don't know how the count is made, as indeed, it is considered as Serbia by many, and I think the IP and Internet system might be linked to the serbian one, technically speaking. Not sure of that at allr

If you consider the population being able to access to school, and under a certain age ( 40 ? ) they should be able to speak english , if they don't come from a remote, or very rural area, and if they are not working or roaming in the streets. Sadly, pretty much 90% of the population is not part of this system, due to poverty, and also to their cast system

Reading these comments I'm reminded that geography, and a love for geography, is universal. We all love to know the interesting landmarks in our own country, as well as others, and all the fun facts and stats from everywhere else. A geography channel from a conceptual standpoint is one of the best to make due to massive reach. I'm from Russia and I am honestly very _VERY_ surprised Russia even made it into the first 50 considering how little people here know English. Like 3mil, damn that's impressive. Literally almost no one knows English, my classmates do nothing on English lessons, adults can't understand simple things on like food packages and other sh!t. Don't ask how I know English so we'll to be watching _a lot_ of English speaking youtubers, it's a big story. It's very bizarre to see that many Russians watching you, glad to know someone's like me. Or maybe it's just translation channels or automatic KZbin translation and they actually don't know English. Overall I'm sorta kinda obsessed with geography and I hyperfixate on your videos a lot and they actually helped me become better! Proud to be from those 0.5%

Little confused with 4:00. The percentages do not add up to 100, but the proportions are correct (i.e 73.4 million divided by 88.1 million is 83.4%, etc. The sum of the total views in each substate doesn't even equal 88 million.
