1. all destroyed mosques were during the war, collateral damage from the 90-94 conflict. 2. while mosques were used to house livestock this isn't with the intention to offend islam, its simply ignorant farmers using an empty building not knowing the significance. besides, azerbaijan does much worse than this, like destroying ancient armenian buildings like churches, and temples, destroying the ancient cemetaries in julfa, and nakhichevan, and blatantly rebranding whats left as "albanian" artifacts.
