I’d have to say France. Been to France many times. We share a lot of historical and cultural links. People seem to think the French hate us, but I know and have met many people in France who said they really appreciate and like us Brits. I for one love the French. It's not that cold in England. My mother's side of the family harked from Ireland and she used to tell me of little secluded parts of Ireland that were like a tropical paradise. I have friends there but have never been. As a musician and a lover of Guinness it seems almost criminal that I haven't. Alot of us English have a warm heart for Ireland and many of us carry a lot of guilt over how the state treated it.

@@splodge561 depends on who you ask. Irish nationalists will probably say no but most don't have that attitude. But you can't say how the reverse is true for England treated Ireland. So in the end it's understandable that some would hold a grudge against a country who in the past mistreated it. But the majority don't which is important, and that goes for both sides.

Lol my grandmother went to Albania and she was so proud of it because it made her “different” to everyone else in the uk. She was British and lived in England. I am (3/4) Greek (living in Greece) and am going to Albania soon, I can’t wait to go. Such a hard question.. My favourite place to visit was probably Italy.. The architecture, art and food speaks for itself but... The moment we arrived at Ciampino there was a huge thunderstorm and a downpour of rain. A stranger came up to us and offered to walk us to a taxi under his umbrella while getting soaked himself. He was no exception, Italy was full of kind and selfless people who made us feel at home in their city. Amazing, will go back one day.. for sure :)
