I honestly don't know how you roll out videos this high quality with no views, Nice work
@mannezeidlitz14146 ай бұрын
I mean, 310 views in a day, for a channel with only 40 subs… pretty good in my experience.

Thanks bro 🙏🏼 Hopefully that’ll change over time (the view count, not the quality 😅), but I’m just glad to have you guys watching right now!

Desk setup KZbinrs make videos titled "ESSENTIAL Desk Accessories that you NEED RIGHT NOW!" and proceed to recommend a $200 mouse, a $300 keyboard, a $900 monitor, and a $700 standing desk. Don't forget the $1,500 chair.
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube5 ай бұрын
This is PRECISELY what prompted me to make this video 😂 If I took the advice of every desk setup KZbinr on here, I’d have the most overpriced, ergonomically amazing setup you could fit into a cardboard box in a back alley 😅
@Veo875 ай бұрын
@@AlexTalksTechOnKZbin Oh, and don't forget that the $300 keyboard is only a 40% keyboard.
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube5 ай бұрын
Well, if you’re paying $200 for a desk mat, you wouldn’t want it to be taken up by unnecessary buttons (especially if they aren’t custom built gasket mounted pre-lubed red switches, or whatnot)! 😂

You really do need all those things. 😂

Standing desk, theater chair & a 77 inch QD-OLED TV is all I needed!

Once I get a 77 inch OLED TV, I’ll never see my friends or family again 🤷🏻♂️😂

@AlexTalksTechOnKZbin LOL yeah man it's most definitely a DREAM to game on & watch movies on! You'll get one, one day!

Standing desk is a 5/5 for at least one. It's great for computer work but game changing for taking things apart and other hobby activities. I only sit a few times during the day and when gaming or watching a movie
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube5 ай бұрын
I will say, I wish I had invested in a better standing desk. I might revisit my priorities once I get a better one, depending on how much I end up using it.

About the mouse, seriously if you're not gaming and just doing office work. Checkout trackballs, it helped me tremendously with shoulder, hand and arm pain. I was already using a premium mouse before this, but this was seriously a game changer and is often overlooked.
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube6 ай бұрын
I’m old enough to remember when trackballs were a thing, so I can’t help but feel like people my age or older refuse to use them because they think it’s an antiquated device, much like a fax machine 😅 I can imagine it’s an absolutely great way to alleviate all kinds of pain like you say, but I just think it’s too alien for most people to consider switching to after a lifetime of using a regular mouse - same way that an alternative keyboard layout might make more sense than the standard QWERTY, but it’s just too much of a hassle for most people to even try. I’m curious though. How long did it take you to get used to it? Do you feel like you’re able to use it as effectively as a regular mouse?
@damian0075676 ай бұрын
@@AlexTalksTechOnKZbin Yeah your probably right about the to alien part. It's always fun when a coworker wants to show me something really quick on my computer and then they are stomped because they can't find the mouse :D. Honestly adapting to using it wasn't too difficult for me. I guess this is mainly because I use a thumb trackball which has the same button layout and the same grip as a regular mouse (logitech ergo m575) All in all after a week of continuous use I had almost the same control as with a mouse. It's definitely easier to pickup then an ergo keyboard. There are just some things which don't work as well. tiny movements when for example cutting out an image in photoshop or similar tasks suck. FPS are difficult for the same reason, but i still played cyberpunk with it, as i'm way better at aiming with it then with a game pad, and you can play on it even when sitting on your couch. Though i still choose my mouse when I'm playing competitively.
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube6 ай бұрын
It honestly doesn’t sound quite as bad as I was imagining it would be. I don’t think I could ever switch over fully, just because I do enjoy playing the occasional FPS, plus I’m just too accustomed to using a mouse by now, so much so that it feels like second nature. But maybe I should give it a try at some point, just to see if it’s something I would want to incorporate into my daily workflow and setup. These are precisely the kind of things I’d want to explore with this channel! 😊 So I guess you’d say the Ergo M575 would be a good starting point to try out this type of thing?
@damian0075676 ай бұрын
@@AlexTalksTechOnKZbin Yes it's a good starting point. There is also the gameball which I heard good things about.

Do you find the pegboard affects your acoustics at all? Cheers, nice video!
@AlexTalksTechOnYouTube6 ай бұрын
I didn’t notice any change at all, but I also do have acoustic foam on the wall behind the computer, plus acoustic panels on the opposite wall, as well as a lot of stuff crammed into a small room, so the acoustics were already pretty decent. But in theory, anything is better than a flat surface, since the more you break up the reflections of the sound, the less reverb you’ll hear! So it SHOULD help at least a little bit, but I can’t tell you how much. Thanks man! 🙏🏼
