I actually modified the encounter with the raft, instead of it just being abandoned it was used by an awakened frog having a siesta as he was waiting for the water to rise so he could continue his fishing. I used the whole thing as a random foreshadowing of the water rising, as the frog was not inclined to give much of an answer, and was more annoyed at being woken from his nap.

For the abandoned raft, I had just normal toads slowly start to absolutely surround the party. When they made it to the raft they had to deal with a Giant toad. On theme with Hither, and kind of creepy when you run it right.

Instead of the Mud Mephits cackling and sinking into the mud when you get the question right, have them throw an extremely edible mud pie to each character in the group. When the character eat the pie, they instantly recognize that this is the best pie they have ever had and ever will. It's even exactly enough and doesn't leave the characters want for more.

This module is my favorite for 5e so far, and your content is amazing, please keep it up. Your article alone, on how to run the campaign more open, blew my mind. Saving up to buy the bundle. Thanks for the content.

I really enjoy your focus on foreshadowing. I have found this also keeps the players focused. Much better than railroading,it makes players really want to follow.

This series of WbtW videos has been very helpful! Will you be making any more for the chapters beyond Hither?
