Jude is literally the only one I can relate to. I remember when I was ten, my general grandfather taught me what to do if anyone ever atracked me: 'Just stab your fingers into their eyes.' My first thought: 'Won't that kill them?' Second thought: 'If they've attacked ME, I don't care.' 😆 I can neither confirm nor deny having actually ever used this technique.

I didn't have a family member from the army but I did have Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time teach me "the eye is the weak spot on ANYTHING" with the first boss. Lol Same info, different origins.

"Eyes are eyes, knees are knees, and balls are balls. Take out any of three on anyone, and they will go down." The advice my older brother gave me when I was old enough to wander around a store on my own (with adults family also in the same store). Also very similar to the advice a local cop gave me when I had my first job and was driving home after dark regularly. I'm 33 now and I haven't had to use it, luckily, but I do keep the information in mind in sketchy areas.

Trinity Marrow from Storm and Fury(the harbinger series). She is clumsy(mostly due to the fact that she is legally blind but still), impulsive, easily annoyned and annoying, loves junk food, has no filter, tends to both overthink things and compartmentalize her feelings and is stubborn. Everytime I reread the series I can't help but relate to her. I love this series so much and it needs much more love and attention than it has.

Not gonna lie, before I heard the rest of the answer, hearing "Vriska" as the start of said answer had me very worried for a second 😂

Tea from the "Shadow and bone" serious, she's quite relatable. I can't exactly remember ahy she's my automatic answer, but despite not having read the book in a while I stand by it

1) Jane Eyre: Introvert teacher, reasonable and intelligent and courious, quiet and passionate. 2) Brienne of Tarth: Values Honor and always being truebl to her wird, is mocked for her not so feminine appearance, defeats most men in things that they think they are unbeatable, especially by a woman.

"you mean people actually mind their own business. Can't relate" 😂😂😂 THAT is relatable I haven't read many Fantasy Romance books (I mostly read fantasy) so I can't answer. From your Daindreth series it's probably Sair and Fonra.

1) Sydney Sage from the Bloodlines series: she was homeschooled, and because of that is very awkward in social situations and usually says the first thing that comes to mind without realizing the subtext until it's too late. Karigan from the Green Rider series: extreme bad luck to the point that some of her stories about her adventures would sound like she was boasting, crazy or completely mad.

lol, mines not a heroine, but he might as well be (Xie Lian from heavenly official's blessing) lets just say I've been through some really painful shit (Stage 4 endometriosis resulting in 2 surgeries, the later of which was a partial hysterectomy), and also put myself through some pain willingly (I have a fairly large tattoo on my back and a large under bust tattoo), i also have TERRIBLE anxiety and depression issues, and usually put up a brave front --thus most of the time people dont realize i'm struggling--, and i also tend to hoard random things other people see as worthless garbage -crystals, yugioh cards, books, cute stuffed animals, hair pins, glittery things etc- and I also struggle knowing how to react to things. one of my friends agreed with me after reading the series and was like: Yup, Xie Lian is YOU, the snarky awkward turtle that can't decide whether to laugh or cry. now if i can only find a Hua Cheng we'll be golden, jk jk. highly recommend that series always, but be warned, it is dark, like, really dark. I related most to the scene where Xie was getting held down and stabbed multiple times (if you want to know how bad endometriosis sucks, that scene was literally a 'me too' for me, i read it right before my second surgery was scheduled, and i was in constant pain while reading it. i'm fine now, but lets just say it left an impression ugh.)
