I can get to level 34 of Dawn of Civilization, and then I spend the US$20 to get 150% points which puts me to level 50. Getting there without spending requires some heavy duty PvP-ing. (I can finish the "heal XXX troops" quests by slamming lots of low level troops into big common monsters. Training for relic gathering is tough!) I, too, bought the initial $5 pack during the flexible specialty roll-out. And I also got Forceful Cavalry. :)

Love the review of flex specialties. Just wondering if the battle tested flex will also give you buffs in the sub city generals and duty generals ?

Duty generals - No Sub generals- Partially. Only the debuffs in the battle tested will apply 👌

I like the battle tested. I am using them on my two wall generals. I've got both to level 60. Not sure what I'll do once I max the wall general and assistant.....

I’m pretty much the same. After I’m done with my wall generals, then I’m moving to my PvP generals 😉👌

I've spent more than $500 on the flexible pack, and don't have one maxed out yet (although I have two gens that are grandmaster level)....and I always use double/triple down coupons. I could prob max out a siege gen though with all the extra siege ones I have, but not working on my siege gen yet.

1) I’m not 100% sure on this one, but I think the premium is slightly more expensive 2) Yes! You can change at any time 👌

You can also score in svs by monster hunting. It's another way to grind out getting battle tested. Done the right way....no risk of getting zeroed. But its a much longer road because monster scoring is low.

Yeah, it will be tough getting the SvS chests with just monsters 😅

There aren't enough monsters to score any meaningful points in SVS, maybe you can score 2-5m points at best. I think monsters give points in SVS primarily to draw newbies to the enemy server.

@zakoh85 why I hunt monsters on the enemy server. 1. No risk when using timers and your ready with teleports. 2. All positive points no negative. 3. Not much time to scout for bubble drops. -the amount I scored is just enough to get gems. Part of my gem supply chain. It just so happens that amount afford me one copy of battle tested specialty. -only if the score is very close will enemy server boss hunters help win svs.

Flexible specialties cost big bucks but are better. Flexible specialties are free from SVS chests, but are somewhat weaker. Beware that either will eat tons of runestones. Focus on the general specialties first until you have at least 2-3 main generals with 4 gold specialties.

Normally, the specialties are fixed for each general in the game. These flexible specialties are like “add-on” specialties that provide buffs to your general. After you have completed the first 3 specialties on your general, then you will also gain access to that 5th slot. 👌 In the 5th slot, you can put any flexible specialty of your choice, that you have access to 👌
