When George did a presentation at the railroad hobby show in Springfield Massachusetts in 2023, he was using the same BNSF dash 9 for the presentation. He did a good job

George, Some neat tips. Especially the CV 8 set to 9 didn't know about that one. I use a custom function map and I can see using that occasionally. Sorry but I don't particularly care for either TSU 2 aftermarket or Athearn from the factory function maps. At least you have made that pretty easy to customize. Just one more reason why Tsunami 2 is my decoder of choice.

I personally remap my own models. The aftermarket was done for symmetry with previous gen decoders, as were Athearn defaults. These were slightly changed to incorporate the new features too! But we did incorporate the flex-map feature so we (the modelers) could move the effects under any control we want! Great feature! Thank you for watching! ~G

Where are you coming up with these CV values? Like 130 being a mars light?

All of these can be found in the Manual available on our website.

You need to explain better, slower ,an how to, clearer, stop memorizing your lines, not all of us understand what u are doing...

I'm not memorizing any lines. I am speaking off the cuff, so to speak. Now, this information is to help you see how things are done, but for complete detail and explanations, refer tot he Tsunami2 Diesel User's Guide on our website. That is where you will see the full explanation of the features and how they are used and set.. In this video, I am simply showing you a way to find out which FX# output is wired to which light, so you can change the effects as you desire. In my opinion, the number boards are a tad too dim, so if I don't know which CV to change, then I'm guessing, and since i don;t work for Athearn, I am not always sure. So this method of changing the effect to see which light changes helps us know which output is wired where, so then I can know which CVs are needed to be set. If you need further assistance, feel free to contact our support department either by phone or email and we'll be happy to help you further! Thank you for watching! ~G
