I actually like both for a different kind of comfort: vapes more firm and boost more relaxing cushion. Ultra boost can get mushy and even uncomfortable if worn too long. Yeezy is the exception to this. Vapes take alot more wearing to get them comfy. Both are good, but different.

I wanted a good shoe for running. I did my research and wanted the ultra boost. The store attendant suggest the energy boost because of the price and durability with the same technology as the ultra boost. I most say I like boost tech in my basketball shoe too but I think it is better suited for running. I only wear performance shoes when I am playing sports. I rather invest in some brogues or boat shoes for a mature look. The nike shoe looks like a gimmick while the ultra boost serves a real purpose for athletes; however, it is hyped up and therefore a fashion item. Ultra Boost for the win. I never thought I will see the day when people actually want an Adidas shoe over a pair of Nikes.

Styling Vapormax is really dependant on your personal style, I just got my Vapormax about a week and a bit ago and so far not an issue with styling. I find they look great with a cropped, tapered jean of any colour really. I got my girlfriend a pair a few days ago and she paired hers with some wide leg trousers (which were cropped) as well. If you like a cropped denim then personally you really shouldn't have an issue with styling Vapormax.

Basically, Addidas has rocked it this year. UltraBoosts are lightweight, good looking, comfortable and adaptable to any type of clothing. Love Shoes and I'm very picky. Still and always will be an Addidas fan even though I bought an Addidas and a Nike downshifted yesterday. Definitely getting an UltraBoost today in grey 😜

vapormax in my opinion is made for wearing with shorts, you cant wear them with jeans because of the jeans weight and texture clash with the slickness and plastic sheen to the vapor. wear something something simple like running shorts and a tshirt even in monochrome if u want to because the vapor max is meant to be the main centrepiece at least from what i noticed

The reason the Vapormax are harder to wear is because they are Triple Black. A black Sole looks heavier. The UB Bad a White Sole so it is easier to combine

I have ultra boost 3.0's and also vapormaxes and here is what you need to know. The vapormaxes are bouncy when you walk (which I dont mind day to day) and they are the superior performance sneaker for distance running. They dont do well laterally because they are pretty tall and your foot will slide around over the soles when you switch direction. Ultra boosts are the most comfortable sneakers I own, but are not as good from a performance standpoint. The price is pretty much the same for both if you stay away from the exclusive colorways (I did not and I payed more for the ultra boosts). He is wrong about the prices not varying with the vapors since some colorways are more exclusive and are sold for more (from resellers) or harder to find. Boosts are easier to work into an outfit but vapors look good if youre wearing athletic clothing.

I have both of em and I like both of em, the thing is that the Ultra boost doesn't keep my foot in place, where the vapormax completely wraps around my foot it is just more secured and structured. That's why I like the Flyknit more than the primeknit, because it gives you hold. So for chilling I prefer the ub und when I'm going places I put the vapormax on.

I have the vapormax plus in the sunset colorway and I just got some ultraboost 4.0 in the oreo colorway. The vapormax plus are more comfortable in my opinion, they feel different from the normal vapormaxes, since they do have a midsole between the bubbles and the foot. Its very soft. The ultra boost is great for walking though and you dont have to worry about popping a bubble if you step on a twig

i think a key point missing is sole durability. the vapormax has a thicker rubber sole that will last longer than the ultra boost, which has a very thin sole that actually wears away in less than a year. if im gonna drop ~$200 on a pair of sneakers, no matter how awesoem they are or how comfortable, if they cant last the test of time im not interested.

That's a fair point, I love Nike's durability I've had free 5.0 since 2015, and there's absolutely no way to ruin their soles. Most feedback says that the Ultra boost are durable but I've heard some people say that they wear out but worse the boost actually gets yellow with time. I just got a pair of 3.0 for about 100 euros on sale, I hope the continental soles will last me.

The VaporMax was not built to chill....it was built to RUN. It is a functional shoe, as is the Ultraboost. Try running in them, that's when the VaporMax truly shines. No trampoline effect when you are using it for it's intended purpose. I'm not hating on the Adidas, as I have plenty pairs of them, too.
