Axel for the speed team. (you didn't mention the speed teams) I learned early on in the tower if I could keep Jasmin alive without a tank out front she would attack much sooner and much more often. In most cases she's deadly. There are a few players that turn that death back at her. In this case Oliver isn't much help but Axel is. My Pet strategy ended up being to bring all my pets to blue one at a time so they could join the heros in battles. Then I started working them, again one at a time, to violet for the patronage. That is where I am now. I just got my 4th violet pet in my web page game and I have two violet pets in my FB game. Thanks for the good info Charlie!!!

Great stuff! Have you seen any more information on the pet skill leveling going to orange? If this happens, the pet war flag will be the best flag to use and the whole dynamic of this game will change.

Is there any event with a "increase pet level" task? I don't remember any.

I really don't agree here. 1. All you really focused on here is the team pet and while that's important, patronage makes a big difference. 2. If you're building a meta OSH team (as a beginner), you want Axel, not Albus, for two reasons. First, you need survivability until you fully develop your team (including patronage pets). Second, having Axel on Martha earlier on is more important than Albus since you're not going to get incredible damage until much later anyway so surviving longer will do a lot more for you at that level. 3. Violet is the bare minimum stopping point for a pet, but if you're really going to use them, then Violet is not nearly good enough, especially since patronage skills often are based on stats so you want them as high as possible. 4. Honestly, if you're a new player, just stick with Axel. He's definitely the best overall pet, better helps against more powerful teams than others, is the best pet for a defensive team, is a good counter against Yasmine that you tend to see fairly often earlier on, and likely will be a patronage pet on most teams you use. I would also say that just in case Nexters decides to massively upgrade pets with an orange rank, you'll want to make sure you have the least amount of work to get there as possible just in case they add a fourth pet skill (perhaps a second patronage skill).

Because I'm a beginner, who heroes is the blender team?
@nitzky8936Күн бұрын
Blender = Nebula Sebastian Jet + physical damage dealer of your choice, like Keira, Dante, Karkh, Quin Mao, Artemis etc. Hence "Keira blender" usually referred to Andvari Keira Nebula Sebastian Jet, it was a fashionable team a couple of years ago, to counter Karkh teams. Blender teams were only really effective on the attack, they are not good for defense, as they're easy to counter. PS obligatory warning to beginners - quit this game before you start spending money. after a while it stops being fun, but you keep playing, cause of the money you spent into it.

Since I don't agree at all, I'll just repost my comment from the live :) ______________________________ I don't think that new players should stick to your pet advice blindly (the advice: Khorus, Cain, Albus). Where is Axel, the best, most universal pet in the game, huh ?? Cain second priority, even if you don't build a dodge team? Seriously? IMO go with Axel as the first pet, unless you are building Dante-tank or Aurora team, then Cain. Albus won't be of any use in GR, unless you have Seb, Oliver, Isaac, Nebula, Cain all leveled up too, so that you can replace team's Axel with Albus. However, if you are at this point in the game, I'd say you are not a beginner. You need violet Oliver, to keep Isaac alive. Also, team's Albus and Seb(Alb) aren't dealing any damage in a Corny team, unless you have strong Seb and Neb to unleash those crit hits for Corny. Deda (another YTer) recommends using Jet over Neb to get more stable and reliable crit-hits with Corny Osh team. BTW, that's a brilliant on-a-budget strategy for Osh for beginner players: Build just this trio: Martha-Cornelius-Isaac and add Axel for the team. Add 2 baby heroes in front, so that they die quickly and let the trio do their job. Only Axel needed, pet-wise. Hence: No Albus as first pet, and no Cain. And def. no Khorus. Yes, this won't crit-hit, but due to Axel and only 3 heroes, Corny will do more ults, dealing decent physical damage, while you work on the rest of your Osh meta. And team's Axel will keep Isaac alive, even without Oliver's patronage. This will prob. work ok with Jhu, but I've only tested with Corny. Khorus: Don't get me wrong, Khorus is fantastic (I play Kho myself), but you will build Sebastian for Osh anyway, so you have to think if you really want to downplay other, potentially more crucial [for a beginner] pets, just to prioritize Kho, while you kind of double effects protection with Seb. I've played Seb even in a mage team, so did Misty Kathrine. Both quite successfully, but I have to admit, I'm better off with Khorus now. Oh, and Khorus is of no use vs. Osh, unfortunately. But great for CoW, as you can have effects protection for all your 3 teams, when attacking (only 1 with Seb). And for Khorus team, you'll most likely have to build Aidan too, to your keep tank alive. And Khorus needs to be pretty jacked to do his job (v+2 or v+3, with left side gems maxed). That all leaves me with a clear conclusion: Go with Khorus only if you know what you are doing are are willing to pay the price: (the price: get Aidan, get Kho to v+2/v+3, no use in GR, little/no use in Campaign) Also, I don't agree that you will build all pets eventually. If by eventually you mean at least 2-3 yrs of playing and/or spending a lot, then sure. Similarly, I don't agree, that all: from Axel, through Oliver, to Fenris are incredible. They are not, c'mon, get real. Fenris is nowhere near Axel's incredible, Oliver as a team pet is nowhere close to Axel. Some gradation has to be introduced. Otherwise, Ziri is incredible too. And yes, Fenris is hands down the worst pet in the game, or, if you like: the least incredible. IMO it's far more prudent to limit yourself to just a handful of pets (2-3 main, and 2-3 auxiliary ones) and deliberately neglect the rest. If Nexters introduce orange rank for pets, knowing your limits will prove even more essential. me: main: Alb, Cain, Kho; aux: Axel, Oliver (I play: Khorus-Aidan-Gus(Albus)-Orion(Kho)-Celeste(Axel)-Aurora(Cain), blue flag) But I've started the game leveling Axel, and that was the right thing to do. Also, Axel is among these cool pets that do their job, even when they are not fully leveled Examples: - Axel (at least for my team(s) - I need just a little bit of damage distribution to activate backrow healers) - Oliver (for Osh, doesn't have to be particularly strong. And save on his left side gems, as Oliver is crap of a team's pet) - Biscuit (for Ode stripper technique. Just get him to violet, that will do) Some pets have fantastic patronage, but are 'meh' as team pet, so you can safely neglect left side gems: Cain, Mara, Oliver For others, the opposite is true (great team pets, crap patronage): Khorus TL;DR: At the beginning, go with Axel. Great for PvP, crucial for Campaign. Even if you switch to sth else later on, leveled Axel won't ever go to waste. And against Dante-tank, I could have 4 Axels (great patronage skill).

Nice breakdown! I agree, some pets are not great to have as a team pet and you should not waste your resources on their skills. For example, my Fenris is +3 and I maxed out the right side of his stones. So only the patronage. Only the pets that I use as a team pet, are going to be maxed out. In my opinion, Axel should be levelled first. Great for mitigating those enormous damage output of some of the warriors. But most importantly, get all of your pets to at least purple. In that case you have access to all their abilities and from there pick 3 pets that you will be using as a team pet. Cain, Albus, Axel and Khorus are all great picks.

How would you decide between Oliver and Axel?
@steinshaw249018 сағат бұрын
I decided on Axel as Axel seemed to help my team the most. In hind sight after watching some videos here I learned I built a speed team. Jasmin is my goto. I learned (intuitively by watching) that I did better with Axel. I learned in the tower fights if I could keep Jasmin alive out front that she would would attach much faster and is deadly. Except there are a few players that seemed to turn her attacks back on her and killed her if I wasn't using Axel.

Axel is a far better team pet than Oliver. Oliver's first skill only heals your heroes if they take physical damage, so it won't heal your team when they take magic or pure damage. Axel's first skill divides the damage equally among your heroes (keeping the lowest health ones in the fight alive longer), and then it gives healing boost in its 2nd skill.

I like leveling my pets similar to how I level my heroes, so pet for tank first, then for the main DPS, then team pet (if not already leveled for the first two) and other support pets. For Osh-team, I would focus on Axel team pet before Albus, because you need almost maxed heroes and pets to be able to use Albus team pet, while you can still do decently with Axel a bit earlier on lvl 160. When you get heroes that are powerful enough to survive without Axel, then you can switch to Albus...
@ElNinjo198211 сағат бұрын
I would only level Cain if you are investing heavily and if you are one of the strongest players in your guild. As a free to play player i would go for Axel even with a Dante Team. Why? Well if you are free to play player in a good guild you will need axel against Osh/Maestro to survive long enough to deal your 10 million damage. Also Axel will help your weaker heroes to survive in Pvp battles against the top players that have maxed strength teams. The results of a Cain Dante Teame vs a Axel Dante team are nearly even but Axel is way better if you are behind and more useful in other parts of the game.
