I hope by the end of the year Sony adds more PS1 Classics as a ton are missing. I tried Syphon Filter and it actually looked good on the PS4 and liked the rewind feature. Probably stick with Essential tier for now though might upgrade to Premium tier though it's $86 for me. Maybe just wait till my subscription expires next year and see what the difference is in price.

I like the tier system. Gives everyone exactly what they want and charges them accordingly. If you're not into retro gaming and just wanna play the newest titles in multi-player you can get the essential and then you go up from there. Personally I think I will go full premium since when paid monthly it's just a few bucks difference which means it won't break the bank considering I get paid monthly too, and as someone who got into Playstation gaming way back in 2006 with the ps2 the idea of playing the all time classics is definitely tempting

I feel like the PS Extra tier has the best value for now. Don't like the idea of trials on Premium then buy game full price. Hopefully things change up though. 👍

I think the problem comes from balancing game pass and ps plus extra. You want to use them both, but there are only so many hours in a day. After work and spending time with the lady, I only have one or two hours to play. Maybe 3 hours on Sunday. Tough spot.

They should have introduced this service revamp when they decided to make their games $70. It would have been a much better reception than what it is now.

Until they start adding some of their more robust back catalog of PS1 and PS2, I won't be getting it! So many games they could/should add. I'm mostly interested in JRPGs, so stuff like Suikoden series, The Legend of Dragoon, Dragon Quest VIII, etc etc

Does anyone remember what game pass looked like when it first came out? I am sure it did not have close to what they have today. So for anyone saying Game pass has more to offer then PS plus right now well....duh. I am curious to see what Plus looks like a few years from now.
