Thanks for the great response...I like how you guys mentioned running with cameras but waiting for something to happen instead of trying to make something happen purely for content. Basically, you just have to set 'em and forget 'em and things will play out as they should. And, YES, it is Brad Beard because I do have a beard! Another question for you guys...what are your thoughts on recreating maps from videos games for airsoft/paintball? I've played on both Nuke Town and Firing Range here in Illinois and thought it would really cool if a field opened dedicated to just video game maps.

I have a VFC M4ES Baby, I have completely done it up internally, I put a NCStar Dr. Sight on top and the battery in a PEQ box... no stock. It is an indoor monster, it is a little heavy to use one handed as a traditional pistol, but if you want to look like a 40k space marine, it will do you for a bolter.

Mat made a video about this a little bit ago but he said barrel, bucking, hop-up. In that order. There’s a video on their KZbin channel that goes into better detail. I think it’s a top 6 upgrade for AEG part 1. Hope that helps!

I like Mlok if you aren't going to be putting a bunch of attachments on because it's comfortable to hold with nothing on it. Picatinny is nice because you don't have to buy Mlok specific rail sections or attachments and you can put a lot of stuff on and move it around easier.

For running stocks, I would say you can't call it a DMR if you don't have a stock. Even if you do, you won't get the same accuracy, because the amount of stability you have is significantly less, so you're not getting the marksman part of the Designated Marksman...

NSRT question (2nd time asking) : On the internet i see a lot of article about what is the best between AEG and GAS replicas, but i never see article about what is the major difference between the 2. Whe all know that AEG are the best choice for begginer, but why changing for a GAS thats a lot more powerful (sometime too much)and needs a lot of maintenance? What are the difference between the 2 types?

When are you gonna open the indoor shopping? My suggestion is 10 to 15 customers is not bad to bring back the joy of shopping in evike. And a lot of small airsoft store started opening their indoor store. I hope to hear good news next time.

Definitely Picitany. MLok is nice because you definitely get rid of a lot of bulk (though mine is heavier than my pic rail) but it just adds failure points. On my real AR I've had parts fall off of my mlok but pic rails are bomb proof (not literally).

I make gameplay videos, they are for me to remember the epic moments (for me and my friends) I try to cut out bad behaviour as it really helps no one, and try to capture the funny things that happen, or the best thing to happen is someone else doing somethig epic right in front of me. I would say my videos arent very interesting to people who werent there at the game, but people love to see themseves playing.

Hey y’all, sorry In advance for the long question! I’ve been playing airsoft for years and I am a seasoned AEG tech. I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I’ve built several high performance AEGs (DSG, SSG, DMR etc). I do a lot of work for my friends in the hobby as well, but I’ve began to think about venturing out. Here in western Kentucky, there’s a huge market for custom / repair jobs, yet not a lot of techs. I have considered starting a small teaching business for people in my area, however, I know next to nothing on how to get a business like this started. As a full time college student as well, what kind of advise would you give to someone like me, either airsoft or business-wise? P.S. I go through evike for all of my repair / upgrade parts, y’all are amazing!

Certain brands have a bad wrap, I have an EMG Falkor (aps gearbox) evike rep will say it can be upgraded but comment sections or even other airsoft podcasts will say the APS gearbox isn’t worth the time and will mess up. You guys don’t seem to run APS guns so is it just that the guns you like aren’t by APS ? Please shed some light on this if possible ( valley river arms, airsoft gi and custom Canadian shops continue to rant on APS ) do I ditch my falkor for a g&p, krytac or E&l and just look like everyone else to ensure quality?

I prefeer Keymod instead of M-LOK for the looks (I have a keymod M4 Bolt). But Picatinny also looks great..but they are heavy. M-LOK or Keymod is better due the weight, but Picatinny is cool. USE ANYTHING YOU WANT, bottom line!

Neat, I half expected someone to recommend Keymod which is just garbage in real steel, and worse in airsoft. MLOK and RIS are both just as well, RIS can be nicer in a lot of ways but MLOK rails are sleeker letting you get a nicer hold.
