I was always a falsie lift fan but I am obsessed with the surreal!!! I like the dryer formula for my lashes and I am digging the brush and wand.

I always worry when one of my fave products gets reformulated lol. I love this mascara as a daily driver because it comes off easy at the end of the day but doesn't smudge or flake throughout the day. This looks like a good change though! Thanks again for the great review.

First time watching. Loved this review. And I can definitely tell a difference. They both look awesome. But the old one is not quite as long and not clumped but compared to the new one, that all your lashes are separated. Looks like way more lashes. I’d be happier with either one. But super excited to try the old one tomorrow for work. I bought it today.

I adore you and I especially love that you are Latina just like I am . I am so happy I came across you while looking at reviews now you have me hooked on your reviews. Ohh and I just purchased the new one and the older one was my go to once upon a time but they are both very similar and work good. I am always looking for one that lengthens without going straight even after curling and most of all my biggest pet peeve is that they flake and get Flakes into my eyeballs

The new 1 is a tubing mascara, that’s why it has fibers.

I have both of them actually. I use the Surreal one first and the original on top (waterproof version) to kind of lock things in since the new one doesn't have a waterproof version yet.....chef's kiss for me 😊

They looked the same to me, lol. I have the OG but I didn't like it. It made my lashes look like spiders 😳 but every mascara I've tried that has those fibers did that to them 🤷‍♀️ I think it's going to depend on what you're looking for. If you like a wetter formula go with the OG, a drier go with the new version. Thanks for the comparison video though. They're always helpful for those interested in the products... 😉

Definitely the new, I do not like wet formulas.. I am messy and a wet mascara is a dangerous weapon in my hand.. Also I don't have the patience for it to dry etc 🤔..

Also is there a waterproof? Which one did you use? I hate the old one because the wand and the waterproof is so hard to remove. I use the original falsies but always looking for better.

I think all mascaras are the same, and it's the brush that makes the difference... the brush, and the amount of air in the mascara.
