Your hands, up close, are anything but smooth. With peaks and valleys, folds and rifts, there are plenty of hiding places for a virus to stick. If you then touch your face, the virus can infect you. Ed Boon is a nice guy who would be pleased with any MK references Music publishers/record companies/copyright lobbies, on the other hand, are greedy assholes who could lawsuit their own mothers if they could. ( _toasty!_ ) Acording to Wikipedia, _Happy Birthday_ is now on public domain since 2017 after 70 years of the writer's death and after a court ruled Warner-Chapel's copyright claim as invalid.

@@Marcopolo9 The Happy Birthday song is not copyright protected. It hasn't been for a few years now, and in the ruling they said Warner/ Chapel never truly legally held the copyright. Warner/ Chapel new they didn't legally own the rights for years (decades?), and the final ruling stated that they ultimately didn't legally own the rights ever prior.

Soap washes off viruses and bacterias while hand sanitizer straight up kills them. For overall hygiene of hands, soap if better for sure, but sanitizing your hands a lot is very important with a spreading virus around the world.

Another good option is using UV sanitizing lights. I got one last year to kill dust mites in my house, which worked amazingly, however, I read that these lights work on killing other viruses including Covid -19. I couldn't be happier with the results. I just leave it on in several rooms of the house while I'm gone to work, and when I return the house smells really fresh and I feel a lot safer knowing me and my family are that much safer. Hand sanitizer has the added benefit of not removing the natural oils on your skin. If your skin is too oily, this is a good thing (which is why you wash your hair and body in the shower) but if you wash your hands too often too much of the oils will wash away which is terrible for your skin and causes it to weaken and crack (letting in more germs)

One hand sanitizer uses an active ingredient that has a side effect. The side effect is that, unlike most other sanitizers, it causes an increase in skin moisture. When I bought this specific hand sanitizer, I thought that using it daily was obviously going to dry my hand skin. But instead, my hands got better and better. Thank you BZT (benzethonium chloride).

As a germ phobic I didn't know some virus can't be killed with soap only. But I guess this is where my germ phobic side helped me, because I never trust just one method, so whenever I wash my hands I always use hand sanitizer first, then use soap for 30 seconds, not 20 seconds. I always prefered soap and water. Way cheaper. I let the water rinse for a couple of seconds to make the soap bar and my hands wet, then stop the water. Running water makes me want to rush to save water. Then I stand in an upright position, because my sink and the tap are installed too low, and I would start to rush because of the uncomfortable position. From this moment on I don't have to sing, I don't have to count the seconds, I enjoy producing foam like a child, I enjoy the scent of the soap and the fact that there are lipids in the soap and my skin would not dry out as badly as by using sanitizer, I enjoy the fact of having healthy nerves and muscles, so my hands can do whatever I want them to do, and then I rinse everything off. Don't forget to use hand cream ! ♡

But eventually they admitted that the majority of masks being used (the basic papery ymedical masks and various fabric ones) actually did extremely little, or nothing to prevent the spread of the virus. And the high quality professional masks ONLY provided the claimed level of protection when all of the strictest rules were followed, such as a very tight seal over the mouth and nose AND discarding each mask after only having been worn for a limited number of hours, a rule that was impossible to follow due to the severe lack of PPE.
