Which is more fun? Seat Leon Cupra 290 or VW Golf GTI

Agree about the Golf seats but I prefer the Cupras steering wheel and find I can get it just a little bit closer to me than a Golfs

I had a non-PP GTI for a weekend before buying my PP GTI. The diff for me made a significant difference if you like to lean on the car through bends, it really pulls you around it, whereas I found the non-PP GTI suffered a little from understeer on the same roads. Very different driving experience IMO.

Dsg wont be faster round track. When they set the record in a manual 280 they didn't use the dsg because of the extra weight. Great cars I have 3door 290 Sub8 manual and love it. Way more fun than my previous A45 and S3. It's so much lighter with much better throttle responses and turn in.

I have been thinking if I would buy a Cupra. However, I'm a bit worried because it's a front wheel drive and I live in a country where we have often wet roads as well as rough winters. Does the front Differential lock help you when the road is wet? I wonder what might be the 0-60 acceleration on wet?

How is the front wheel tramp on the cupra in 'normal driving, have heard its a real issue with the fwd cupras?

Both of the cars use the soundaktor to play louder engine noises through the dash speaker and you say the Golf sounds horrible but how does the Cupra you say sounds good differ? Have a GTI PP by the way

Disagree with the DSG being better round a track than a manual mate, otherwise the clubsport S and the type R would of opted for an auto box.

Good informative videos, keep 'em coming. I'm not sure if it's an accent thing but my only request would be to please stop pronouncing SEAT as "See-At", it's "Say-At", or just stick to Cupra.. ;-)
