Its annoying how people say the trinity doctrine was made up in church council. The trinity is littered with scripture and proof through out the whole bible. Oneness doctrine is nowhere to be found. It itself is based on scriptures taken out of context. Jesus never said he was the Father. Jesus never said he was the Spirit. Oneness basically says that in john 3 16, the the father did not send his son but that he became the son. Oneness has to call jesus a liar for saying he was sent. Oneness has to discard that jesus said he witnesses of himself and the Father witnesses of him because the rule of 2 or more. Oneness has to ignore that jesus is the mediator because a mediator is a person who comes between 2 or more. That man christ jesus is the word. He is fully God AND fully man. Oneness has to ignore the john 1:1. Repent from this heresy

Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent me. 10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the Lord. 11 And many nations shall join themselves to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people. John 8:19,21,23-25 [19] Then they asked him, "WHERE IS YOUR FATHER?" Jesus answered, "You neither know me, nor my Father. If you had known me, you should have known my Father also." [21] Then Jesus again unto them, "I go my way, and YOU SHALL SEEK ME, AND SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS. Where I go, ye cannot come." [23] And he said unto them, "You are from beneath; I AM FROM ABOVE. You are of this world; I AM NOT OF THIS WORLD. [24] I SAID THEREFORE unto you, THAT YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS. FOR IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THAT I AM HE, YOU SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS." When the Bible mentions that the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit are one, that means they’re the same in essence. They’re one YHWH but three different persons. That is why God is called Elohim. Is wrong to say that God transforms in roles because denies the deity of Christ. If the trinity doesn’t exist, then God’s eternal plan of salvation through his son is destroy. Oneness is a heresy.

Scripture speaks of reconciliation. We are enemies of God. But He sent the Son to reconcile us to the Father. Who then sends the Spirit to seal us and to sanctify. To say they are all the same person is blatantly go against scripture. The Son saves only whom the Father draws. The Spirit then dwells in them

@@NewLifeOfAlbanyGa @New Life Of Albany Ga. What is wrong with the approach that both are true? In the same way that we can not comprehend that Jesus was fully man and fully God, we cannot comprehend that God is one, yet also three in spirit. Bible says that God is one, and Jesus himself separates himself from God, saying that only one is good, the father. Yet he also says "I and my father are one", but that he sits on the right hand of God. I don't understand it, but I can't deny that there's an indication of both oneness and an element of separation. In no way do I think trinitarianism thinks we have three Gods, ranked in any order. But Jesus separates himself from God, and also says that Holy Spirit is the comforter that would come after him (though the OT says plenty of times that so-and-so was 'filled with the holy spirit'). So my takeaway thus far has been that God is spirit, and God is one, but within God are the roles of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, and the same God is all three of those things. They are separate but the same. Perhaps I don't understand enough about oneness theology. But I don't want to know about any theology as much as I just want to understand the truth of christ and keep his word.

The doctrine of the Trinity came out of Rome not Jerusalem. Amazes me how Protestants and evangelicals try to distance themselves from the Roman Catholic Church but most have adopted this heretical doctrine as their own. Think most people are steadfast in their belief of the Trinity out of loyalty to the teachings of their denominations which is un-Scriptual in itself.

One or Two, or Even Three ... Oneness or the Trinity? What is this talk, that I hear? A Trinity, that you declare. You think I need, society? I conform to your, propriety? Had I not declared, from days of old? Can't you accept, what you've been told? I declared I AM! Only One! I AM the Spirit, and in the Son. I do not need, Anyone else. I AM complete, within Myself. Who do I need, to council Me? You think I need, two or three? I AM GOD, don't you understand? I do not need, a helping hand. All for you, that I have done, it was YOU, who needs a Son! Foreordained, from long ago, I told you what, you need to know. So when I came, My people would see, in that Man, Messiah would be. I became a Father, when I begat a Son to fulfill My Promise, until My work is done. The Son did not exist, before the fall, I'm just One God, I'm ALL IN ALL. It is YOU who sin, and YOU who die, I made a way, to give you Life. A blood sacrifice, is what I command. So I gave you, the Perfect Lamb. But you forget, the reason why, I came to Earth, from on High. My Sacrifice, on that Stand, the Son of God AND Son of Man. A mediator, between you and Me, I gave My Life, so you would see, just how much, I love you all, to wash your sins, from the fall. I gave you My Word, for you to read, to recognize fulfillment, of prophesy. In everything, that I have done, you insist it is I, who needs that Son. As if that isn't, bad enough, you think I need, another's love. This other Person, the Holy Spirit? Then Who Am I, with this limit? I AM SPIRIT and I AM TRUTH! But you insist, I'm just like you. You try to reason, and justify, Who I AM, that sits on High. There is but One, on My Throne. I AM that Chief, Cornerstone. I AM that Foundation, and that Rock, to many of you, a stumbling block. A Rock of offense, not just for Jews, but to all who reject, My Good News. It's important for you, to understand, the Jews know WHAT, I [really] AM. I entrusted them, with My Oracles. Don't ignore, the historicals. They know I'm One, or it's blasphemy! There's No One Else. There's Only Me. "Hear O Israel, the Lord is One" That is why, they rejected the Son. They saw a man, claimed to be God, in Equality, and Echad [One]. I did not withhold, a secret from them. You must understand, I AM THAT I AM! Nothing's impossible, for Almighty God! Faith is believing that, in your heart. "Trust in Me," I have said, there are things, you cannot understand. YOU are divided. It isn't Me. I AM ONE, not a Trinity. I AM JESUS, that is My Name! Father and Son, Spirit's the same. I AM Love, it's not something I need! What makes you think, I get lonely? Are you putting words, into My Mouth? Teaching lies, that cannot be found? I warned you don't add, nor take away, lest you repent, you will die in vain. Teaching for, doctrines of men, false prophets abound, are you one of them? Read both Testaments, Old and New. Not one excluded, so read them through. Don't get too deep, in theology, don't get blinded by, your philosophy. With My help, My Word was made, to be understood, by even babes. Changing God, to fit your rules, professing to be wise, you become as fools. The Bible is, a personal task I'd help you out, if you'd only ask. Do not qualify, your faith from men. I'm your Rabbi. The Great Amen. Here is Scripture, reintroduced, of Who I AM, it's in My clues. Parables and prophesies, visions and dreams, not all is clear, not what it seems. Some are direct, and some are vague. John 14:10 Believest thou not that I AM IN THE FATHER, and THE FATHER IN ME? The words that I speak unto you I SPEAK NOT OF MYSELF, BUT THE FATHER THAT DWELLS IN ME. HE DOES THE WORKS. In Jesus' own words above, remember what He said as you read the Bible! He is saying the words He speaks are the words of The FATHER! So, when you read everything Jesus says, remember it is The FATHER SPEAKING 😘 Jesus Christ said in John 12:49 "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." The Father is the Holy Spirit dwelling in the Man Named Jesus [the] Christ, Who said He doesn't speak on His Own but is the FATHER that dwells IN HIM. Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the FAITH and of the KNOWLEDGE of the Son of God, unto a PERFECT MAN, unto the MEASURE OF THE STATURE of the FULLNESS OF CHRIST. Colossians 2:8-10 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after CHRIST. And worship HIM that MADE heaven and earth, and the sea and the fountains of water. Revelation 22:13 “I AM ALPHA and OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the END. The FIRST and the LAST.” Revelation 1:8 I AM ALPHA and OMEGA, the BEGINNING and the ENDING,” says the LORD, WHICH IS and WHICH WAS, and WHICH IS TO COME, THE ALMIGHTY. Revelation 21:7 He that overcomes shall inherit all things and I WILL BE HIS GOD, and he shall be MY SON. Ephesians 4:4-7 There is ONE BODY, ONE SPIRIT, even as you are called in ONE HOPE of your calling, ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, ONE BAPTISM, ONE GOD AND FATHER OF ALL, WHO is ABOVE ALL, and THROUGH all and IN you all. But unto every one of us is GIVEN GRACE according to the MEASURE OF THE GIFT of CHRIST. EPHESIANS 3:14-19 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, of Whom the WHOLE FAMILY in HEAVEN AND EARTH is NAMED, that He would grant you, according to the riches of HIS GLORY, to be strengthened with might BY HIS SPIRIT in the inner man; that CHRIST may dwell in your hearts BY FAITH, that you being ROOTED AND GROUNDED in love, may be able to COMPREHEND WITH ALL SAINTS what is THE BREADTH, AND LENGTH, AND DEPTH, AND HEIGHT; and TO KNOW the LOVE OF CHRIST, which PASSES ALL KNOWLEDGE, that you MIGHT BE FILLED WITH ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD.

The LORD God was the Elohim [Gods] who brought Israel out of Egypt, not to include the Christ, 1st Corinthians 10:4. 1st Corinthians 2:11b shows the Spirit of God is a man, spirit of man, who is within God's God uncreated material Spirit man body John 8:17-18's teaching, and knows (Greek, knows but not by experience: knows because he 'searches all things yes the deep things of God' 1st Corinthians 2:10 [so isn't God who would know the things of God, knows all things]) . @Asaph Vapor 1st Corinthians 2:11b parallel with 1st Corinthians 2:11a: as the spirit of man is a man within his man and knows (Greek, knows but not by experience; searches all things of his man as does the Spirit of God searches in God 1st Corinthians 2:9-10); even so No Man knows (Greek, knows but not by experience; searches all things yes the deep things of God within his man's body, God's material body, as the spirit of man does within his man's material body 1st Corinthians 2:11a) except the Spirit of God within his man's material body. But it's not only 1st Corinthians 2:11b which shows that God is separate from himself, but even from Genesis 6:3 'my Spirit shall not always strive with man' verily God is not saying himself; Isaiah 48:16 'the LORD God and his Spirit have sent me' showing two so a plural verb, the prophet also writing as they are two. While the God of Israel is Holy Leviticus 11:44, and a Spirit John 4:24 the term/phrase God the Holy Spirit is never shown in use. The Holy Spirit is shown as the Holy Spirit OF GOD, not God the Holy Spirit, John 14:26, whom the Father will send in Jesus' name. Acts chapter 2 verses 17-18 quoting from Joel 'I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh', 1st Corinthians 2:11b more closely shows the definite separation between God and his inner Spirit of man. Maybe that's why Paul said 'Jesus Christ who abolished death has brought immortality and life to light through the gospel' 2nd Timothy 1:10.

@@leonardodavincioso4359 I say this with all due respect, you are not interpreting correctly and your understanding is of deception. In only a few verses I can can show you there is Only ONE GOD, the FATHER. I can give you a ton of Scripture but without being too wordy, these get the message across loud and clear He IS the Holy Spirit and IN the Son. There is Only One Spirit and He is it, and believers have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in them. It's all the SAME, ONE, ONLY GOD. Just One Person! Not three rattling around in the Man. Ephesians 4:6 ONE GOD and FATHER OF ALL, WHO IS ABOVE ALL, and THROUGH ALL, and IN YOU ALL. Romans 8:9-10 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the SPIRIT OF GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the SPIRIT OF CHRIST, he is none of HIS. And if CHRIST BE IN YOU, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy GREAT IS THE MYSTERY OF GODLINESS. GOD [Ephesians 4:6] was MANIFEST IN THE FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Where's the **MYSTERY** if it was the second person of the Godhead?! And since Mary was conceived by The Holy Spirit, shouldn't the third person of the Godhead be his Father? So does Jesus have two Fathers? You make it so complicated and yet it is SO easy to understand GOD is ONLY ONE. He is the Holy Spirit. He is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent! He Alone. Colossians 1:15 Who is THE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE GOD, the FIRSTBORN of every creature: John 1:18 NO MAN HAS SEEN GOD [Ephesians 4:6] AT ANY TIME; the only BEGOTTEN SON [Son of Man], which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. Isaiah 46:9 Remember the former things of old: for I AM GOD, and THERE IS NONE ELSE; I AM GOD, and there is NONE LIKE ME. Isaiah 44:6 [6]Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and BESIDE ME THERE IS NO GOD. Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, THE EVERLASTING FATHER, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. THE ZEAL OF THE LORD OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THIS. Colossians 1:19 FOR IT PLEASED THE FATHER THAT IN HIM [The Man] SHOULD ALL FULLNESS DWELL; Colossians 2:9 For IN HIM DWELLS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. Etc., etc. Don't make it so complicated because it's really just so simple. GOD - Who is Spirit - is the Father, the Son, a Friend, the Creator, the Savior, the Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, the Rock, the First, the Last, Alpha and Omega, ...... He is ALL IN ALL. Three "persons" = Three "gods" Simple addition. God became the Father when He begat the [Man] Son. He had to be FULLY GOD AND FULLY MAN!

He's the 'perfect' image of the Father or Holy spirit. By sacrificing his flesh (Jesus) he allowed us a way of redemption, by taking all our sins unto that perfect vessel. For the wages of sin is death, Jesus HAD to die, so that we may live and repent. The God of Modalism is not the God of Scripture. In addition, the God of the Bible does not change - his nature stays forever the same. (Malachi 3:6) God does not mediate between Himself. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:5). (John 5:20) does not mean the Father loves Himself. Modalism Is Inconsistent And Confusing, if the Father, Son, and Spirit are the only God under three different names or modes, then the New Testament would be totally inconsistent and confusing. For example, in the prayer of Jesus Christ, recorded in John 17, He is addressing His Father. According to Modalism He is praying to Himself. Such an idea is absurd. I wouldn’t like to have a millstone around my neck (Matthew 18:6)…

Amen, love it! The one eternal invisible Spirit of God did manifest himself into time and physicality (his creation). "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." Jn. 1:11. Jesus is the express image of God's (singular) person (Heb. 1:1-3). This would imply that God has "person" qualities albeit at an eternal and invisible level, incarnate to us in Jesus (Col. 2:9). This would explain Thomas' words when he exclaimed to Jesus; "My Lord and my God." Jn. 20:28. It also explains why the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is Jesus, fusing Matt. 28:19 with Acts 2:38.

Oneness teaches that the word trinity is not in the Bible but it doesn’t matter if the Bible doesn’t mentions the word trinity, the Old Testament doesn’t mentions the word messiah but we call Jesus the messiah. When the Bible mentions that the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit are one, that means they’re the same in essence. They’re one YHWH but three different persons. That is why God is called Elohim. Is wrong to say that God transforms in roles because denies the deity of Christ. If the trinity doesn’t exist, then God’s eternal plan of salvation through his son is destroy. Oneness is a heresy.

Meaning of God is One clearly explained in simple terms…. What does it mean when god says that he is one? Does it mean one person? Not necessarily, in all of scripture (old and new testament) god doesn’t describe himself as one person. One can mean many things. For example, the United States of America, there is only one America but it consists of multiple states. Another example is the word Family. Family is singular, but by definition it means 2 or more persons. So when the word family is used, it always implies 2 or more persons. The word god used in the Old Testament is the word ‘Elohim’, which is understood as a singular sense, but by definition it’s plurality in one. We should allow god to define what one god means. God clearly reveals himself as One god (Elohim), which consists of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit, and that there is no other god besides this god which he has revealed. Just as when you say there is only one family (multiple persons) living on that street, when god says he is one god (Elohim), by definition it’s plurality in one, and as he has clearly revealed the plurality within the one is the father, son, and Holy Spirit, Or in the Old Testament as Lord, another lord or angel of the lord, and spirit of the lord/god. When we hear the word one applied to god we mistakenly assume one person, when this is not how god defines himself in the Bible. Plus on top of that, the word one used in Deuteronomy 6:4 is the word ‘Echad’ which can mean compound unity. Echad is the same word used in genesis 2:24, a man and his wife shall become one (Echad) flesh. 2 become one. The father, son, and holy spirit are in perfect eternal unity. Read the below statement again in light of the Hebrew words used and in light of all of god’s revelation of himself in scripture, and who god is should be crystal clear…. Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God (Elohim - plurality in one), the Lord is one (Echad - compound unity)!”

Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit) Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. (Acts 10:38) The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church? The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again) Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, (A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.) Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment) ============ Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says? What did Peter say below? Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning. Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost. Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water/ every time they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage? Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13) “baptize” KJV Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost. Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.) Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not; Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5) Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant) How many people have been saved by the Old Covenant water baptism of John the Baptist? Who did John the Baptist say is the greatest Baptist that ever lived in Luke 3:16? What kind of New Covenant baptism comes from Christ? Hebrews 9:10 Old Covenant vs. New Covenant (ESV) but deal only with food and drink and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until the time of reformation. (Geneva) Which only stood in meates and drinkes, and diuers washings, and carnal rites, which were inioyned, vntill the time of reformation. I think the issue is man's inability to comprehend God. We want black and white conclusive answers, but for whatever reason, the bible doesn't always offer that. When we can't reconcile the apparent inconsistencies of the bible, we often just pick a side and disregard evidence for other perspectives in order to have closure. The bible says God is one, and that Jesus and God are one, but it also testifies of some uniqueness within the roles of God, but the roles are all still fulfilled by the same one God. It's hard to wrap our minds around it. It's like being told that an apple is an orange but also still an apple. But regardless of our ability to comprehend that contradiction, if it were true, it would be true nonetheless. Let me flesh this out a bit, please bear with me... Our imperfection and sin make it impossible for us to commune with God because unholiness cannot dwell with holiness (Psalm 5:4), so if we want to commune with God, then we must be holy. But the wages of sin is death and we have a sin debt against us, so if we don't pay that, who will? God demands a sacrifice without blemish, but there is none good except the Father (Psalm 53, Mat 19:17), so God has no candidate for that sacrifice other than Himself. Alright, here we go... So God, who is perfect, left heaven while also remaining in heaven (and also everywhere), to go to Earth and become sin (2 Cor 5:21), while still remaining holy, and then poured out His own judgement onto Himself, killing Himself in the process, only to then raise Himself to life again. Then, He left Earth to go back to heaven to be with Himself, where He already was, and sit at the right hand of Himself. It was better that He left earth, because if He had stayed, then He wouldn't have sent Himself to be here with us as a comforter and advocate (John 14:26, 16:7). And now, if you believe in Him, then you can be saved from His judgement because He already paid the debt you owed to Him (1 Pet 2:24). Whew! That's chaos. But it's also true. (Hopefully my account, while overly rigid, is still biblically accurate...) The above is difficult to understand when it is expressed as being carried out by a single entity, and leaves out a lot of complexity that takes place in various stages. But if you characterize every action as being carried out by a different entity, then you obscure the fact that the whole concept and execution of the plan for redemption was carried out by the one holy God. The video here makes a good point to state that God's omniscience can easily be blurred into assuming multiple God personalities. Where is the line? If the bible doesn't make that line crystal clear, then who are we to try to extrapolate a crisp conclusion? My point is this: Elements of God's expansive character will be misrepresented, diluted, or lost if they are oversimplified or overcomplicated. The desire for closure on a topic does not permit the dismissal or minimizing of some passages in favor of others in order to make a concept more digestible. The bible's a tough document. But we can either let that create factions and divisions, or we can use it to drive us deeper into the bible, not to prove to one another who is the most learned, but to show ourselves approved unto God, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Tim 2:15). Some arguments are a waste of time because they are plainly explained in scripture. But I think the bigness of God makes it so that the answer so some questions is often not all that simple. If an age-old argument has still not been put to rest, then it seems likely that the answer contains elements of both sides, and it will never comfortably fit into one side or the other. "It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2) Praise the Lord for this, because it has driven me to be hungrier for the Word and to seek it out like never before. Still a long way to go though! Thanks, Pastor Waldron, for your studiousness and your willingness to share on this platform.

God has given his personal word Matthew 4:4, 2nd Timothy 3:16. God wants us to communicate with him with sincerity and truth. So, Given his word written and his judging man by his written word it makes sense to avail ourselves of it to be aware of his truths by which he judges man, male and female. The more you know the more you can know to not be deceived or used. One God Psalm 90:2 [the LORD who appointed himself Father to Jesus, his appointed Son Hebrews1:5, John 8:54] saved Israel out of Egypt Exodus 13:21, 20:2-3 and the other Micah 5:2 (Jesus) saves man from the judgment of sin Matthew1:21, 25.

Since ONLY MENTION OF THE THREE - Father, Son, Spirit - is in the gospels and Not the Three are one God, neither can it be true after Jesus' earthly mortal body death.

I honestly grew up in a trinitarian church, but we never used that word ever, I just knew we were pentecostal Christians, it wasn't till I found a oneness apostolic pentecostal church that I learned about it and my aunt told me later on that we come from a trinity based family belief. I found out there's 2 types of trinitarians, there's those that believe that they are separate gods and ones (like I used to believe) that believe that they made up 1 God equally, that each one was 1/3rd God and one couldn't exist without the other 2. The oneness makes way more sense to me and to be honest I never felt the Holy Ghost more or felt more zealous for living for God than at a oneness apostolic church, the oneness is the truth, I feel it, it's why I choose to only read an akjv Bible now instead of the NLT, NkJV and "the message" Bibles like I used to.

Its visible in scripture that there is oneness. Thanks for teaching this. You are the first guy that I hear that teach how I view the scripture. Its amazing how quick trinatarians are to brand other believers as heretics that believe the ALMIGHTY FATHER SON AND SPIRIT is ONE. I read the book of JOB and saw how many times he referred to the ALMIGHTY as EL or ELOAH which is singular. In JOB 38 the ALMIGHTY replies back and the question in now who was it? The FATHER or the SON. It was YHVH (I am) who answered him. In Zechariah 14 YHVH (I am) says he will return (second coming) to the mount of Olives. Who promised in the new testament HE will return to the mount of Olives. The SON said HE will return so the SON is YHVH from the old testament and HE IS THE ALMIGHTY!! FATHER, SON, SPIRIT are titles but the ALMIGHTY had just one NAME and variations of that ONE name.

The Bible doesn't call God a "they"...three persons but one essence is also not found in scripture....three persons who share the same being or essence still equals three and not one...you can't say you believe in one God and say the three persons are all God...it's a contradiction. God bless.

Is Jesus a blasphemer or a liar? JHWH is the "Word" in the OT, Jesus ist the "Word" in the NT. And the word was God (John 1:1). Jesus was accused of making himself godlike by the Jews, he didn't refute. Jesus is called God by Thomas, he didn't refute. God rose Jesus from the dead. In John 2 Jesus claims that he will raise himself from the dead. In my opionion, either the Bible contradicts itself, what I refuse to believe, Jesus is a blasphemer or a liar, what I refuse to believe or he is the one true God JHWH. This I accept. I’m trinitarian Pentecostal. I think it so sad that the Pentecostal denomination is split over the doctrine. Think about if the oneness and trinitarian Pentecostals came together. Think about the UPC and Assemblies of God USA alone. We both believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. The difference is we reject the denial of the Trinity. We also do not baptize in Jesus Name. Matthew 28:19. It is the authority of Jesus that baptizes us not a formula. Also, tongues is not a requirement to be saved. This oneness doctrine was started by one man who had a revelation and spread to other pastors in the Pentecostal denomination which resulted in over a 100 pastors breaking away from the Assemblies of God.

If you want to know the mystery of the Godhead, this is what the Lord have revealed to me in the scriptures. Far too long people have not understand the God we serve, so this is the message to open up your eyes. He that hath an ear, let him hear! Mark 12:28‭-‬32 KJV 28 And one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, and perceiving that he had answered them well, asked him, Which is the first commandment of all? 29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: 30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 32 And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: Isaiah 35:4‭-‬6 KJV 4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. 5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. Luke 2:11 KJV For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. WE ONLY HAVE ONE SAVIOUR AND ONE LORD AND JESUS CHRIST IS HE. Matthew 11:2‭-‬6 KJV 2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, 3 And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? 4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: 5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. 6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Isaiah 45:21‭-‬23 KJV 21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord ? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me. 22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. ref. John 1:1-2, 14, John 8:42, ref. Isaiah 55:11 KJV Philippians 2:10‭-‬11 KJV 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. John 1:1-2, 14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Colossians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Psalms 62:7 KJV In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Hosea 13:4‭, ‬9 KJV 4 Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. 5 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help. 1 Corinthians 10:1‭-‬4 KJV 1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 2 John 1:3‭, ‬7 KJV 3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 1 John 5:1 1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. With that said, Jesus Christ is our Lord but he is subject to the Father, for the head of Christ is God. The spirit which is Christ manifested itself in the flesh, so the man was not God, but the Spirit in him, that was our Lord and our God. We do not have two God, only one. When we say Jesus Christ is Lord, that is to the glory of the Father, for he was the one occupying that body...It is a mystery. Not every one will get it. Colossians 1:19 KJV For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Matthew 28:19 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: That was all God. He is the Father who created all things things. God was manifest in flesh, working in a body bearing the title Son, and when he was glorified, bear the title Holy Ghost. That is all God. God sent the Son which was his own Word behold as of the only begotten of the Father. For Jesus said, John 7:29 KJV But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. John 8:42 KJV Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Isaiah 55:11 KJV So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. ref. Isaiah 45:22-23 JESUS WAS THAT WORD! By honouring the Son even as we honour the Father according to John 5:23 is not a sin because you're giving glory and honour to the one he proceeded forth and came from. The Father never died, the flesh died, which was and is the Son of God. John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And remember, the preaching of the gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:36 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:45‭-‬47 KJV 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: THE SECOND MAN IS THE LORD FROM HEAVEN. Ephesians 4:5‭-‬6 KJV 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. This is a message for the people of God, Jesus Christ is God, again, I say Jesus Christ is God. Look to him and be ye saved. And as concerning you, Trinitarians, the Trinity is a lie, your doctrine is a myth! This is a true saying, there is one God and none other but he! Deuteronomy 32:39 KJV See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. Isaiah 44:24 KJV Thus saith the Lord , thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

The Trinity is a lie! You may have a controversy with what I just stated, But be ye angry and sin not. Read all that I have said, afterward, it is your right to agree, or to disagree. Nevertheless, I pray that God may open up your understanding and reveal the truth of his Son in you. 1 John 5:7-10 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. ...................................................................................................... Now, get wisdom and understanding. The Father bears record in heaven of his Son which is the Word, and the Word bears record because it proceeded out of the mouth of God and was made flesh here on earth testifying of his Father. The Holy Ghost bear record in heaven becasue it was prophecied by the Word which came out from the mouth of the Father which is in heaven and said that he will pour out his Spirit upon all flesh in Joel 2:28 & Acts 2:16. The Word which was made flesh is beheld as of the only begotten of the Father according to John 1:14. He is not a second person in the Godhead because he came forth from the one God. Now I'm not a modalist, neither do I believe that Jesus is the Father, but that he is the Son of the Father and he is seated at the right hand of power according to 2 John 1:3 and Luke 22:69 Moreover, The Spirit, the water, and the blood bear witness here on earth because John saw the Spirt of God descending upon Jesus Christ in the bodily shape of a dove, Saying, this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. That was the Father declaring and bearing witness to his Son Jesus Christ which is, and which was, and is to come, the Almighty according to Revelation 1:8 Do you get me? This is a mystery, and I pray that God opens your understanding and knowledge of the scripture that ye err not therein. Moreover, brethren, according to John 4:24 God is a Spirit and He was, and is, that same Spirit that bear witness on earth. Now the blood and water bears witness also, for when that Jesus was pierced in his side forthwith there came out blood and water according to John 19:34, fulfilling the word of God spoken of the prophets, saying, the Messiah, which is Christ, would come, to carry out the will of his Father declaring the word of truth, becoming a light unto the Jews and Gentiles; the salvation for his people and a stumbling block and a rock of offense to others. Afterward, it behoved Christ to suffer being crucified, he die, was buried, and resurrected from the dead by the power of his Father according to Luke 24:46 This is a true saying, brethren, there is no knowledge of God nor truth in the land. Many false prophets and antichrists have gone into the world polluting the gospel. (For it is the power of God unto salvation, and the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ according to Romans 1:16 and Luke 24:46) But thanks be to God, upon this rock, even the foundation, is the Lord's body, which is the church, established. Be not deceived nor be carried away by every wind of doctrine for many have succumbed to falsehood and idolatry. Moreover, the world is plagued by many false prophets plagued with seducing spirits, deceiving others and being deceived themselves. As it is written, For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and Lords many,) But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled. 1 Corinthians 8:5‭-‬7 And again, I say, there is but one God and none other but he according. to Mark 12:28-32 And remember honoring the Son even as you honour the Father aligns with scripture according to John 5:23 And remember, again, I say, the Word proceeded forth out of the mouth of God and was made Flesh by his power according to John 1:14 That's why Jesus was one with the Father even before the world was. Not that he was a separate and distinct person from the Father, but he was one, sigular, with the Father from the begining, even before the world was established according to John 1:1-4, 10-14; John 16:26-28; John 17:5-8 Jesus is the Word that was made flesh. God sent the Word, which is his Son, which came out from him, into the world that we might live through him for this life is in his Son according to 1 John 4:9, 1 John 5:11, John 3:16-17 To get wisdom and understanding of the Word, refer to Isaiah 45:22-23 Philippians 2:8-11 Acts 10:36-44 And when you believe, according as it is written, then shall the Holy Ghost, which is the power and spirit of God endued on high shall rain upon you. Amen. Again, I say unto you, not once, yea, twice, that Jesus is the Christ the Son of the living God and he is not a second person in the Godhead. Jesus is the Word of God manifested in the flesh, which came forth from God and has gone back to the Father according John 16:28. He was made flesh and God was working through him according to 2 Corinthians 5:19 Brethren, be not confounded to the spirit of error, But be of good cheer, and not having a mere zeal of God only, but being clothed in the garments of righteousness, knowledge, and understanding of God, abiding in his word and having an ear to hear the declaration of his word. Verily, verily, I say unto you, it is in a man's nature to fight against that which he hath no understanding. But truly I say unto you that the Spirit is He whom teacheth, and guide a sincere heart into all truth. Blessed is he whom God the Father hath revealed the Spirit of truth, even his Son, by whom also he made the worlds: for he is the brightness of his glory, the express image of his person, declared to be the Son of God with power and the image of the invisible God. Peace be unto you. God bless you and glory be unto the Lord God Almighty who abideth for ever. Amen.

I’ve been a member of both types of churches. One church’s lyrics were “God in 3 persons, blessed trinity” while the other’s lyrics were “God in Christ Jesus, blessed unity.” What’s your response when people attempt to point out as a defense of the trinity in Matthew 28:18-20 (KJV) that states: “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. George Ramos While the Trinity teaching may not be true, neither is the Oneness teaching nor any teaching that doesn't separate the Word was God from in the Greek 'the God' which was in the phrase of 'the Word was with - at: nearby, alongside; to: looking toward, going toward - the God' John 1:1b. There were two Gods in the beginning; this doesn't conflict with "there is only one God' under the Old Testament Ten commandments covenant commandments and writings 'The LORD God Almighty who Alone 'brought Israel out of Egypt': Israel's Elohim/Gods compared to Egypt's gods/elohim; the only God, Savior, Redeemer, Jehovah/Yahweh/LORD, and Rock which 'brought Israel out of Egypt Exodus 13:21.

No mention of the Father or the Ruach HaKodesh/Holy Breath (or Spirit) is mentioned. The messianic (born-again Jewish & Israelite) translation, The Restoration True Name Scriptures (4th) Edition, MattiYAHu/Matthew 28:18-20: “And YAHusha/Jesus came & spoke to them saying, Go therefore, & make talmadeem/disciples of all (latter-day Yisraelite) nations, doing mikvah/baptism or water immersion upon them in my Name (the original reading almost without question did not have the later Trinitarians addition): Teaching them to shomer/watch, keep, guard, or observe all things, which I have commanded you (in the Torah): &, see, I am with you always, even to the end of the olam hazeh/this age, or this world. Omein/so let it be, truly it is, truly, or verily.”

@@georgeramos3437 Yes, I have heard similar to your post. This doesn't help those who don't know or refuse to know the particulars, or having read the multiple names under one name for so long are suspect of any other document not knowing if anything will turn up to reverse it again to understand. That's why I write about the context of Matthew 28:18 With Matthew 28:19: Jesus was given all power (authority), and baptizing them in the name (onoma: authority, name) in context would have been better served by translating it as 'baptize them in the authority' of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Add to that there's no mention of what name Jesus' disciples were baptized, nor John's disciples before the death of Jesus, John 4:1-3. The emphasis given by churches in Christianity after Jesus' death is misplaced to say the least in the baptizing of believers; the emphasis of the 'name of Jesus' in the healing of people and casting out demons in Scripture is seen to be appropriate, but otherwise as spiritually recognized as doing all things in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ is understood, Colossians 3:17.

Pastor, how do you reconcile Genesis 1 where the Lord says, “let us make man in our image”? Does this not speak to the truth of God being a communion of persons? And what about John 14, when Jesus says “I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever”? If Christ were the Father, why would he need to ask the Father to send the Holy Ghost? And what about 1 John 5:7 (which I don’t believe belongs there, but you, since you use the KJV, do)?

Its important to remember that Jesus is God manifested in flesh, so when he called God his father or prayed, he was speaking as flesh. In Matthew 26:41 Jesus said "The spirit is indeed willing but the flesh is weak" the body only is called the son of God.

@@josephjones4207, I respectfully and lovingly disagree with the pastor of New Life Of Albany Ga.because 2 Cor. 4:5-8 doesn’t nullify the Trinity; rather, it enhances the Trinity doctrine of One God eternally existing as Three distinct Persons. The emphasis in those verses mainly focused on two individuals in the Godhead: God the Father, and God the Son Jesus Christ. "5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. 6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;" It seems rather clear that “. . .the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” is merely confirming that Jesus is reflecting the Father’s will: to give knowledge of Jesus's saving power as the Light. And that Light will shine in believers’ hearts-the light of the glorious gospel of salvation that will dispel the darkness of sin. This in no way disavows the Trinity doctrine (One God eternally existing in Three Persons). Rather, it shows that Jesus is the Son of God, the second Person in the Godhead doing the will of God the Father (Jehovah).

Should have begun from John 1:1's definition of God in the beginning: the Word was God was made flesh as Jesus, not a true God John 17:3; the God who was with the Word 'the Word was with - at: nearby, alongside; to: looking toward, going toward - the God' became the God of Israel, who replaced himself over mankind with Jesus in that area of responsibility ONLY.

It boils down to whether we believe the Bible or a doctrine of man that is just a little over 100 years old. The Bible says in Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He would lie, nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? 1 Samuel 15:29 Also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor change His mind; for He is not a man, that He would change His mind.” James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. God the Father according to the Bible would never lie or change His mind and most importantly He is not a man or a son of man. Jesus however is 100% Man and 100% God. The expression Son of Man is used 81 times in the Bible, and it never referred to God the Father only to Jesus. Peter when he answered who Jesus was replied you are the Son of the Living God, the Messiah, the Anointed One. Jesus confirmed his answer by saying flesh and blood did not reveal this to you by My Father in Heaven. If Jesus can be 100% God and Man as the Bible teaches God can be One God and 3 persons. Every word is established by two or three witnesses. God is revealed in 3 persons, God revealed it, the Son revealed it, and the Holy Spirit revealed it.

God is Holy Holy Holy yet Jesus became our sin on the cross, He cried out to His Father why have you forsaken me. For the first time in eternity the Son was separated from the Father, not from Himself. You have to add a whole lot to the text in order for people to understand your doctrine, but the Bible is not that hard to understand. If God is not in three persons, it would be impossible for God and the Holy Spirit to separate Himself from the Son but that's clearly what the Bible says. But you are misrepresenting the use of "ONE" in these verses. I am "One" with my wife, but it has nothing to DO with NUMERICAL VALUE. I am "One" with GOD'S word, but it has nothing to DO with a MULTIPLICITY ...of "Persons." Someone could ( Philosophically) say, "I'm ONE WITH THE UNIVERSE," but it has ZERO to DO with some NUMERICAL VALUE of. "PERSONS." Besides, Jesus is simply proclaiming his LOVE and OBEDIENCE to his FATHER. And by the way-- Jesus refers to GOD as not ONLY his FATHER, but--HIS GOD. Read Matt. 28:18, which totally CONTRADICTS vs. 19. Verse 19 is a CORRUPTED verse that was Altered from its ORIGINAL wording. If you STUDY this, you will NOT find that formula ANYwhere ELSE in scripture. Every ELSE the Apostles say to pray "IN THE NAME OF JESUS," or, "...IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.: Any HONEST theologian will TELL you that Matt.28:19, along with 1 John 5:7 were "Tampered" with. The Original scripture reads DIFFERENTLY, and has NOTHING to DO with a " Trinity." Why did Christ CONTINUALLY SAY things like, "I can do NOTHING on My Own," and, "I only do the WORK my Father GIVES me," and, "I only speak the Words my FATHER Gives me," and, "I do the WILL of my FATHER," and, "The FATHER is GREATER than I..." I repeat--"...the FATHER is GREATER than I." Read John 5:19, 30. Jesus himSELF proclaims that he can do NOTHING by himSELF. Mark 10:18 says, "Why do you call ME good--only the FATHER is good. (Paraphrased). Read verse 27. Read Mark 10:40. Read verse 45. Check out Mark 11:22. Christ told Peter to "have Faith in GOD (the FATHER). He didn't point to himSELF. John 17: 20, 22, 23b. Does GOD "Pray: to HIMSELF? John 18:11. Who "Gave" WHO, "The CUP to DRINK?" Acts 1:7. Who "...Set the TIMES and DATES...?" According to John 17:3, WHO is the "ONE TRUE GOD?" Look at vs. Four: Who gave WHO the "Work to do..?" Also, Vs.'s 6--10. Read Phil.2:6--11. Let's read it CAREfully: Verse 6 CLEARLY STATES Christ, in fact, did NOT "Consider EQUALITY with GOD something TO BE GRASPED." And the word "NATURE," here simply refers to the Spirit of GOD dwelling WITHIN Jesus (Read Acts 10: 38,40, 42). Verse 8 CLEARLY declares Jesus as a man who, "...became OBEDIENT unto DEATH." Check out Vs. 9. Who Exalted WHO? And Vs. 11 CAPS it all OFF. "To the GLORY of...WHO? Phil.3:21. Whose "POWER ENABLES" Christ? Col.1:3 totally EXPLAINS Col. 2:9. And Col.2: 9 is explained by Acts 10:38. I could go on and on-- but ASK yourself; just What/Who ARE these "3 Persons?" Just how many Holy Spirits do you BELIEVE in? Is EACH Person HOLY? Is EACH Person Eternal? Is EACH Person ALL KNOWING? Is EACH Person SPIRIT? QUESTION: How many ALMIGHTY, ETERNAL "Persons" do you BELIEVE in? There IS but ONE GOD-- therefore-- there can BE only ONE Literal HOLY SPIRIT. Do you DENY--or AFFIRM? My friend, this ENTIRE doctrine was FOISTED upon the World 2-3 hundred years AFTER the LAST word of Revelations was penned. And it BEGAN with PHILO, who was nothing more than a PHILOSOPHER. Then, down the road, an ancient denomination we know as, the Roman Catholic church, began to emerge. THAT is where we see ALL THOSE trinitarian TERMS and termonologies begin to surfice. Not a SINGLE Apostle or Disciple in the New Testiment is recorded as EVER using those MAN-created terms. And keep in mind--this ENTIRE doctrine was FORMULATED over the passing of SEVERAL CENTURIES, which, by the WAY-- just happens to be...the DARK-AGES!! Things to THINK about, my friend.

@@albertaltreche The word “soul” in the Bible is a translation of the Hebrew word neʹphesh and the Greek word psy·kheʹ. The Hebrew word literally means “a creature that breathes,” and the Greek word means “a living being.” a The soul, then, is the entire creature, not something inside that survives the death of the body. Consider how the Bible shows that the human soul is the whole person: Adam was not given a soul-he “became a living soul” When Jehovah God created the first man, Adam, the Bible says that “man became a living soul.” (Genesis 2:7, King James Version) Adam was not given a soul-he became a living soul, or person. The Bible says that the soul can work, crave food, eat, obey laws, and touch a dead body. (Leviticus 5:2; 7:20; 23:30; Deuteronomy 12:20; Romans 13:1) Those activities involve the entire person. Is the soul immortal? No, the soul can die. Dozens of Bible verses refer to the soul as being mortal. Here are some examples: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die.”-Ezekiel 18:4, 20, King James Version. In ancient Israel, the punishment for the most serious offenses was that the “soul shall be cut off.” (Exodus 12:15, 19; Leviticus 7:20, 21, 27; 19:8, King James Version) The person would “be put to death.”-Exodus 31:14, King James Version. After a person dies, the literal term “dead soul” is used for the corpse in some Bible verses. (Leviticus 21:11, footnote; Numbers 6:6, footnote) Although many Bible translations use the terms “dead body” or “dead person” in those verses, the original Hebrew uses the word neʹphesh, or “soul Soul” can mean “life” The Bible also uses “soul” as a synonym for “life.” For example, Job 33:22 uses the Hebrew word for “soul” (neʹphesh) as a parallel for “life.” Similarly, the Bible shows that a person’s soul, or life, can be risked or lost.-Exodus 4:19; Judges 9:17; Philippians 2:30. This use of the word for “soul” helps us to understand verses in which the soul is said to be “going out” or “departing.” (Genesis 35:18; King James Version) This figure of speech indicates that the person’s life is ending. Some translations render this expression at Genesis 35:18 as “she breathed her last.”-Good News Translation; New Jerusalem Bible. Where belief in an immortal soul comes from Christian denominations that believe in an immortal soul get this teaching, not from the Bible, but from ancient Greek philosophy. The Encyclopædia Britannica says: “Biblical references to the soul are related to the concept of breath and establish no distinction between the ethereal soul and the corporeal body. Christian concepts of a body-soul dichotomy originated with the ancient Greeks.” God does not condone merging his teachings with human philosophies, such as belief in an immortal soul. Instead, the Bible warns: “Look out that no one takes you captive by means of the philosophy and empty deception according to human tradition.”-Colossians 2:8. What is the spirit Let us now consider the Bible’s use of the term “spirit.” Some people think that “spirit” is just another word for “soul.” However, that is not the case. The Bible makes clear that “spirit” and “soul” refer to two different things. How do they differ? Bible writers used the Hebrew word ruʹach or the Greek word pneuʹma when writing about the “spirit.” The Scriptures themselves indicate the meaning of those words. For instance, Psalm 104:29 states: “If you [Jehovah] take away their spirit [ruʹach], they die and return to the dust.” And James 2:26 notes that “the body without spirit [pneuʹma] is dead.” In these verses, then, “spirit” refers to that which gives life to a body. Without spirit, the body is dead. Therefore, in the Bible the word ruʹach is translated not only as “spirit” but also as “force,” or life-force. For example, concerning the Flood in Noah’s day, God said: “I am going to bring floodwaters upon the earth to destroy from under the heavens all flesh that has the breath [ruʹach] of life.” (Genesis 6:17; 7:15, 22) “Spirit” thus refers to an invisible force (the spark of life) that animates all living creatures. The soul and the spirit are not the same. The body needs the spirit in much the same way as a radio needs electricity-in order to function. To illustrate this further, think of a portable radio. When you put batteries in a portable radio and turn it on, the electricity stored in the batteries brings the radio to life, so to speak. Without batteries, however, the radio is dead. So is another kind of radio when it is unplugged from an electric outlet. Similarly, the spirit is the force that brings our body to life. Also, like electricity, the spirit has no feeling and cannot think. It is an impersonal force. But without that spirit, or life-force, our bodies “die and return to the dust” as the psalmist stated. Speaking about man’s death, Ecclesiastes 12:7 states: “The dust [of his body] returns to the earth, just as it was, and the spirit returns to the true God who gave it.” When the spirit, or life-force, leaves the body, the body dies and returns to where it came from-the earth. Comparably, the life-force returns to where it came from-God. (Job 34:14, 15; Psalm 36:9) This does not mean that the life-force actually travels to heaven. Rather, it means that for someone who dies, any hope of future life rests with Jehovah God. His life is in God’s hands, so to speak. Only by God’s power can the spirit, or life-force, be given back so that a person may live again. How comforting it is to know that this is exactly what God will do for all of those resting in “the memorial tombs”! (John 5:28, 29) At the time of the resurrection, Jehovah will form a new body for a person sleeping in death and bring it to life by putting spirit, or life-force, in it. What a joyful day that will be!

Well here's where I think you're wrong pastor on your second statement you said that God the Father, while maintaining his throne in heaven was also Jesus Christ the son. You're not understanding the Trinity doctrine, God the father is not God the son, as you can clearly see in scripture Jesus prays to God the Father, but you said that God the father was Jesus as well that's false. Jesus is distinct from God the Father he prays to God the Father, however God himself is Father Son and Holy Spirit, he's all three of them but yet even though they are distinct from one another they are all three of the one God. Jesus says I and the father one he's not saying saying that he is the father of the father is him, he saying that I and the father are one meaning we are one in nature and essence, what that means is that God is an eternal spirit we can see this clearly in John 4:24, and Jesus is saying he shares the same nature and essence as God the Father which is an eternal spirit. Scripture says unanimously that God is unchanging this is what essence and nature means a the unchanging and unchangeable nature of something which is necessary to its being. So what I'm saying is just because God took on human flesh it does not change who he is, just because he is the son does not mean since the son is distinct from the father does not mean that Jesus Christ himself is not God. So let's see if I drew a circle okay if I drew a circle, like on one side of a paper does the circle change no what is it? still a circle, location is an accidental trait of a circle, but was the circle still a circle yes. That's exactly how the three persons of the Trinity are just because God is an eternal spirit, his nature in essence don't change because he is these three persons even though they are all three distinct from one another he does not change.

The word became flesh because when God speaks his speech creates, so when God spoke his word into existence (the physical realm) he made the body which he dwelled within (HEBREW 10:5). The trinity vs unitarianism debate is something which has been debated for centuries, and most christians hold to the model of God in which he is triune. I shall show how the existence of such a being is impossible, and that the only conclusion is that a unitarian God is true. The trinity is a christian doctrine which states that there are three persons who are distinguished via opposition of relation, as the father has the constitutive property of paternity whilst the son has the constitutive property of filiation, hence we can distinguish these persons in reality via opposition of relation as this relation can be said to be a real distinction. Now, under thomism the persons of the trinity are each identical to the essence insofar as they are not really distinguished from it, meaning a property is not lacking between essence and persons as we define a distinction via lack of a property between two things. If this identity statement between the essence is absolute, then we can utilize the metaphysical account of LL which states: ∀X ∀Y ∀F(Fx Fy) -> x=y, meaning if they share all properties, then they are just identical. Applying this metaphysical account of identity to this identity statement asserted by the thomists, we can conclude that by virtue of the persons being identical to the essence, then the essence must have these intrinsic properties which they have. Meaning by virtue of being identical the father the essence has the property of paternity, and by virtue of being identical to the son the essence has the property of filiation, thus the conclusion is that the essence has both paternity and filiation, but the son lacks paternity whilst the father lacks filiation hence the identity statement between the persons and essence is invalid as a property lacked. Not all thomists or those who posit an identity statement are speaking of an absolute statement, rather they posit a relative identity statement which uses sortals to display an identity relation. Relative identity avoids the formulation of the argument I have placed since they deny a metaphysical account of identity. However, it would appear that an appeal to RI would be trivial since the theory of RI does not negate that we can still make real distinction by usage of non-sortal predicates/attributes, so I can simply assert that the essence lacks paternity, thus a distinction in reality between essence and father and the same can be said with the other persons (essence lacks filiation, hence a distinction in reality between son and essence). Disregarding this entire argument I have put forth, there is still an issue with making an appeal to RI under a synchronic case. The issue is that the thesis of RI does not give a metaphysical account of identity, it simply states that things are identical if they are one and the same which does not give a reason/metaphysical account as to why they are identical. So, the conclusion is that an appeal to RI under a synchronic context is incoherent as it posits a brute fact by virtue of there being no reason for this identity statement. The only way an RI theorist can avoid this issue is by applying RI to only diachronic contexts, whilst disregarding it under synchronic contexts. Meaning; young aristotle =Φ adult aristotle, where “Φ” is a sortal “human” thus it can be rewritten like this: young aristotle =(human) adult aristotle. The explanation for this relative identity statement would be time as it is under a diachronic context. The conclusion is now that RI cannot be used under synchronic contexts, unless the PSR is dismissed. Let us hypothetically say that the trinitarian upholds the minority model of the trinity, in which a real distinction is asserted between the persons and essence. Well, the argument I have put forth above would not apply, but a more enhanced version of Ibn Sina's individuation argument would when speaking of the persons. Now, since that the persons are inseparable and under one existence, then Ibn Sina's argument cannot apply here as there is no multiplicity of Gods with their own existence. Rather, a more enhanced version of this argument which can be applied to the trinity is that the properties of the persons IE that distinguishes them, are identical to their necessary existence. If we assert the contrary (that there's a real distinction in their necessary existence) then polytheism follows, as we have a multiplicity of necessary existences (both essentially and modally). So, since these properties are identical in their necessary existence but distinguished from each other, then that which distinguishes them would have to be either possible or impossible. It obviously cannot be the latter for self-explanatory reasons, and we cannot ascribe necessity since they are identical in their existence, thus the only conclusion is to assert that its possibility, hence contingency is present. If they ask why necessity cannot be said of these attributes, then that would assume a distinction in their necessary existence hence polytheism. This is why invite you to Islam, a unitarian God who is independent omnipotent timeless agent. Allah means 'god' in Arabic, in fact the problems of any philosophical argument can be only answered with unitarian approach. join my server to discuss discord.gg/JjX7msQjAp

Oneness is a heresy. It teaches that the word trinity is not in the Bible but it doesn’t matter if the Bible doesn’t mentions the word trinity, the Old Testament doesn’t mentions the word messiah but we call Jesus the messiah. Like I said, oneness is a heresy.

@New Life of Albany Ga. Nope they not! You probably didn’t even read them. I don’t know how you can interpret Ephesians 3:11-21 or John 1:1 or 2 John 1:3 being oneness or God being on different roles or 1 John 5:7 that literally says that the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit are witness, because oneness says that they’re roles and that means they can’t be 3 witnesses but only one. You contradict the scripture. The verses that I mention explain the eternal plan of the Father and the Son, and how they are different but they’re one God ( also with the Holy Spirit). If you think that those verses are oneness, you’re misinterpreting those verse. And that the early Christians believe in oneness is debatable. Because there is evidence of the trinity as early of the first council of Nicaea.

The words "separation of church and state" never appear once in any founding document of our United States. Though the phrase "separation of church and state" is never expressly written anywhere, it arises from a plain reading and understanding of the texts in their entirety. A trinitarian holds that God is 1 being revealed consistently over time in 3 persons. Being refers to "what" a thing is by nature. I have flesh, bones, blood, eyes, a brain, etc...and those things make me a "human." Person refers to "who" a thing is by nature. I (person) am a human (being). If I were to say God is 1 being, but is really 3 beings by nature...we'd have problems with logic itself. If I were to say God is 1 person, but really is 3 persons by nature...we'd have problems with logic itself. One of the greatest philosphical questions of all time is: "How can there be true diversity in unity?" To better understand these types of questions, we (until recently) went to a "Uni-versity" which is a mash-up of these two seemingly contradictory concepts into one word. It is only within a proper understanding of Christianity, as opposed to any other world religion on Earth, that we find true diversity within a complete unity. No other. "Oneness" in all it's various forms over 2000 years of Church history, whether monarchistic modalism, Sabellianism, or modern Pentecostal "Oneness" (and I hope everyone who reads this looks up these for themselves)....has been authoritatively rejected as heresy...which means those who hold to it are "outside the faith." They have rejected the manner in which God has chosen to reveal Himself through His Holy Word. The bible says two different things 1) a husband and 2) a wife are "one flesh". Is there still any distinction to be found between the man (person) and a woman (person) after (being) married?

He says and but this is not separating them, rather the Lord is interchangable with the word God, so when he says God our Father(God is the Father of creation) and the Lord Jesus Christ, Jesus is God therefore this only means that they are both the same but Paul just acknowledges God's titles. God cannot have three personalities cause if he dies he would be schizophrenic and we dint serve a schizophrenic God.

I'm not here to argue about everything... but saying that 'in whom' means that God-the-Father was saying that he was "in Christ" when He said "in whom I am well pleased" is just lazy (at best) or dishonest (at worst). He's 'forgetting' that he's explaining an English word (or words) as though it was Greek. So, any time in history that any English speaker used the phrase "in whom I am...", that means they were talking about being inside the person (or persons) they mentioned in their statement. 😕

John 1:1-2, 14, John 8:42, ref. Isaiah 55:11 KJV Philippians 2:10‭-‬11 KJV 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. John 1:1-2, 14 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 1 Timothy 3:16 KJV 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. Colossians 2:8‭-‬9 KJV 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Psalms 62:7 KJV In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. Hosea 13:4‭, ‬9 KJV 4 Yet I am the Lord thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for there is no saviour beside me. 5 O Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself; but in me is thine help. 1 Corinthians 10:1‭-‬4 KJV 1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; 3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat; 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ. 2 John 1:3‭, ‬7 KJV 3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 1 John 5:1 1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. With that said, Jesus Christ is our Lord but he is subject to the Father, for the head of Christ is God. The spirit which is Christ manifested itself in the flesh, so the man was not God, but the Spirit in him, that was our Lord and our God. We do not have two God, only one. When we say Jesus Christ is Lord, that is to the glory of the Father, for he was the one occupying that body...It is a mystery. Not every one will get it. Colossians 1:19 KJV For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; Matthew 28:19 KJV Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: That was all God. He is the Father who created all things things. God was manifest in flesh, working in a body bearing the title Son, and when he was glorified, bear the title Holy Ghost. That is all God. God sent the Son which was his own Word behold as of the only begotten of the Father. For Jesus said, John 7:29 KJV But I know him: for I am from him, and he hath sent me. John 8:42 KJV Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Isaiah 55:11 KJV So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. ref. Isaiah 45:22-23 JESUS WAS THAT WORD! By honouring the Son even as we honour the Father according to John 5:23 is not a sin because you're giving glory and honour to the one he proceeded forth and came from. The Father never died, the flesh died, which was and is the Son of God. John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. And remember, the preaching of the gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts 2:36 36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:45‭-‬47 KJV 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. 46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. 47 The first man is of the earth, earthy: THE SECOND MAN IS THE LORD FROM HEAVEN. Ephesians 4:5‭-‬6 KJV 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. This is a message for the people of God, Jesus Christ is God, again, I say Jesus Christ is God. Look to him and be ye saved. And as concerning you, Trinitarians, the Trinity is a lie, you doctrine is a myth! This is a true saying, there is one God and none other but he! Deuteronomy 32:39 KJV See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand. Isaiah 44:24 KJV Thus saith the Lord , thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the Lord that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

Rule of Hermeneutics is do not add words to the Bible. Do not read your opinion into Scripture. You have to break this important rule to come up with a trinity. Over 3k references use the singular pronoun to speak of God.
