I'm surprised how much they are in AU. I bought my 2017 650S in Feb for $184k NZD. NZ new and McLaren serviced. Low K's and reliable. It is the coupe, but the spiders are only about $20k dearer here.

@@RedBatRacing Everything here is insanely expensive, Super and sports cars now cost even more than NZ when new due to taxes etc.

They aren’t known to be particularly reliable compared to an R8, best to know of a good mechanic who works on these regularly, just my experience:)

You can save a lot of $$ if you can do some DIY. There's a lot of knowledge on forums for servicing and to deal with common problems like changing the suspension accumulators that have a limited life. But if they are properly maintained they are reliable
