Are your running the Apogee One on a newer ipad with USB-C? Have read that its no longer compatible? Do you have any issues?
@EhsanImaniАй бұрын
I have an ipad mini 6 with usb-c and I can use my Apogee One with it in Garage Band. With some cables the Apohee Maestro app may not recognise the device but the device will still work. with some other usb cables Apogee maestro app recognise it too. But in both scenarios you can use the device and control it using it's volume knob

I have it working with my Ipad Pro USB C - however, only way I can get it working is by using an Anker Interface with a USB port on it - works well and not an issue and a steal for £50.00 ! :)

JamX pre, Apparently it puts a lot of compression on, I think the best one was Apogee One, I currently have an iRig 2, looking to improve live recording. With my cell phone)
@EhsanImani2 ай бұрын
it's interesting that both JamX and One are from the same company yet they behave very differently!

That noise gate / grounding problem with the Positive Grid is also found in their Spark amps. So annoying!

Hello friend, what an excellent video! Could you tell me, thinking about normal-sized audio cards, which one would you recommend for recording guitars? for microphone it would be less of the time, especially for guitar. on Windows, iOS and iPadOs. thanks.
@EhsanImaniАй бұрын
Thank you! You'll be able to achieve good results with any normal-sized entry level sound interfaces, such as Focusrite, Steinberg and so on.

You can control input gain for irig in the tonex app no? Im looking around and it seems irig hdx is the way to go. If that was your only gripe would you say there was anything else to consider?
@EhsanImani3 ай бұрын
I think it's the input to the Tonex app that you'll adjust and it's not the device's input gain. But tbh that amount of clipping I showed in this video wouldn't ruin the sound and it's still one of the cleanest sounding devices out of that bunch. The only other thing that I faced was a bit of buffering problem in heavy projects with loads of tracks and real-time guitar effects where it lagged to play the project or record properly. I didn't have this issue with the cheaper Irig USB version. But unless your project is like 30 tracks with 10 plugins on each track, you should be totally fine with using it for jamming and recording :)

Hey. Very cool comparison! I'm just missing information on which interfaces are class compliant and how they handle it. For example, if someone needs an interface for recording ideas on the phone, these are the "little ones" they will look at first. Regards from Poland!

Hey, thanks! All of these devices can be connected to your phone or ipad. Even the older Appgee One can be connected to an ipad using a usb to usb c converter cable. So it’s just about which one fits within your budget :)

Ottimo video 👏👏👏… io stavo valutando l acquisto dell irig hd x….,, non ho chitarre con pickups potenti quindi non dovrei avere problemi col l input gain… Mi interessa sapere come suona? Grazie ☺️

Thank you, if you mean the iRig HDx, then yeah that would be a great option for live :)

What about irig hd2? It has gain control
@EhsanImani10 күн бұрын
unfortunately haven't used that one
@Berk-tm5zx16 күн бұрын
how about hd x latency?
@EhsanImani10 күн бұрын
latency was not an issue for me in this test. It suffered from buffering a bit instead. it couldn't play projects with too many tracks properly. but with more lightweight projects it was fine and no latency problem.

Is this product advertising? As the Apogee One is not a guitar interface as it does not have a 1/4" guitar input 😂
@EhsanImaniАй бұрын
it actually has and I mentioned it at 1:35, Apogee one comes with a breakout cable that gives you a 1/4" guitar input as well as a XLR mic input. is the only all-round sound interface amongst these.
