Hi there, thanks for your content. With skin retouching is Radian photo? As it looks like it blurring out the skin detail alot. I agree 100% with the rest of the analysis of the two softwares. Are there any better applications out there in your opinion?

Hi yes with regards to the blurring it is probably my fault. 🙂 I intentionally overdid it so the effect would be easier to see. That being said if you can lessen the blurring though the blemishes may not be completely removed and would need a manual process to complete. With regards to other applications, in the space of automatic AI retouching these are the only two which work properly as far as I'm aware. Alternatively you can manually edit with Pixelmator Pro or other layer based editor but that would take a lot more work.

@@takebetterphotos8132 thank you for getting back to me so quickly. Would I be right in assuming that frequency separation is in neo's skin ai ? Thank you for another great demonstration, it shows how powerful the applications are. I would probably only lessen dark spots under the eyes and remove the blemishes and spots. Thank you for all your hard work!!! It is appreciated 👍🏿

Hi, have you noticed that radiant photo or perfectly clear photos produce very low quality images, meaning the edits are great but when you zoom into the photo the pixel quality is so low and poor, almost like it’s filled with noise, color noise, and very low pixel information. Have you noticed that or is it just me?

I have not noticed this actually. Have you compared to other photo editors? Is it unique to Radiant?
@DB-wx1zs8 ай бұрын
@@takebetterphotos8132 yes I have, it’s unique in radiant. I also tried it in workbench and perfectly clear before and it’s the same result. Also tried it on two different macs and it’s still the same

Ok I would need to test it. The issue can be seen at what zoom level in your experience?

I found that luminar gives a noticably better and more natural look than radiant. Thank you

One of the most competent and detail-oriented reviews I've seen. However, Radiant in this review over-smoothed faces, making them almost fake. It might be better for other use cases.

Thanks for the kind words. Radiant does has some settings to lessen the effect. I may have overdone it 🙂

In my opinion Radiant looks Very Very Fake, very very fast.! i use Luminar Neo and also use Capture one or Pixelmator Pro 23 for my portraits.! the Eye dark removement is so fake on Radiant. U say more detail i see more out of focus and mega hard lines. same skinsmoothing is just bluring the skin and making it a barbie Doll xD !

Ok thanks for the feedback. Love to hear differing opinions. Have you tried radiant yourself? Maybe I overdid it to show the effect a little bit better.
